  • Does OW price beat members only prices?
Tried to get JB to match a couple of weeks ago and was refused for that reason.

    • Don’t see why not. OW even price beat Costco.

    • I don't know, however this is not a members only price. Anyone can go to telstra website and order this with free shipping.

    • I am not sure if they would. I know my local is very careful about price matching and the fact that you actually need to sign in an account to checkout would probably make them say no

  • Please don't buy this, I have it and many firmware issues. Just get a Garmin

    • What are the main gripes you have? Looking to get one of these as current Fitbit screen has failed but really keen on Garmin when the right deal comes up

      • I had the device just locking up randomly for days while they sorted their firmware issues in the background. You basically have to wait with a brick until they release a new version. It did record data in the meanwhile but screen was dead. This happened twice.

        • That sounds very annoying thanks for letting me know

          • @Kamppinator: For one person that complains there would be 100 people who are happy with it. I've had a charge 5 and currently a 6 and no real issues.

Sounds like they should reset their device or replace it under warranty.

Garmin is great, depends what the intended use is and how series they are, would be an overkill for a lot of people, but something like a forerunner 945 or better are great ($500+).

I second this. Gifted my wife and it would frequently (once or twice a week) get stuck. Had to force reset every time which is very annoying. Bummer since battery lasted for a quite a while but just not sure why they can't seem to produce a solid firmware.

The HR monitor is infuriating, regularly gets stuck and won't go above 90bpm until I do a reset. Like this happens once a week. I've used Fitbit 4 and 5 previously… the 6 will be my last.
