$91.93 @ Amazon JP version but unsure if it'd work, any region blocking, etc.

Standard $99 price since April 2024 pre-orders and ever since launch. Amazon doesn't sell PS5 games at actual RRP.

Shadow of the Erdtree expansion is a digital download. Just got a PS5 but not sure if it's worth getting this over the base Elden Ring

    • Dlc is $54.95 through PS store. If you like Eldin ring definitely better to get this copy.

      • Hard to say without having played it. Might just get elden ring on its own when I've cleared a bit more backlog

    • You need the base game to play/install the dlc ?

The base game is also for sale at 59$ , so 40$ extra, as above I would say it's worth it if you like the game as the expansion is not trivial and well received. At this price I would say it's a fair price considering the content on top of the base game.
If you havent played the game, I would describe it as an easier accessible Dark Souls which you can play at any style or pace you like.
The previous best rated DLC was the witcher's blood & wine which has been overtaken by this.
No that this game is like the Witcher mind you, more of a comparison of quality and quantity you can expect from a DLC.

  • DLC - Tarnished May Cry

    • +1

DLC is already making my Tarnished Cry, stuck between newgame + or rolling a new char…

  • How hard are the bosses in this? I like the open world aspect but am not a fan of games where you have to spend ages learning a specific bosses moves / animations to beat it. And also where you can't really progress much unless you beat said bosses.

I'm perfectly happy grinding up but twitch fighting skills are not my thing. E.g. Love Demon Souls because you can cheese most of the bosses.
