Each day for the duration of the Steam Summer Sale (from now until the 11th of July), you can get 1 free trading card by completing your discovery queue, and 1 free chat sticker by visiting any game category and clicking the claim banner. There are a total of 14 trading cards, and 14 chat stickers. Trading cards can be used to craft a profile badge by collecting a full set of 10 (and this badge can be levelled up by collecting additional sets), or they can be sold on the community market for steam wallet credit (they're currently selling for 7c 6c 5c 4c each after fees). The day resets at 1am AWST / 3am AEST.

To get the daily free trading card:

  • Visit the discovery queue page - https://store.steampowered.com/explore/
  • Click the 'Click here to begin exploring your queue' button.
  • For each game page, click the 'Next in Queue' button. (each queue has 12 games)
  • Then when you get to the final game, click the 'Finish Queue' button.
  • The card will be added to your inventory.

To get the daily free chat sticker:

  • Visit any game category page - e.g. https://store.steampowered.com/category/action/
  • Scroll down to the 'Claim your free daily reward all sale long' banner.
  • Then click the 'Claim Reward' button.
  • The sticker will be added to your inventory.

        When I added the total of $0.42 to my tax return the ATO rounded it down to the nearest dollar ($0).

      It looks like there are two discovery queues. One is on a store page, the other is in the 'your store' drop down at the top of your store page.

      The one that worked for me is the 'your store' drop down. The other discovery queue didn't work for me.
