    Boom 2 Plus is the one to go for but still expensive as it's quite new.

  How do these compare with UE or the other big brand in terms of quality?

  I’d probably buy a Boom 2 off it didn’t have the LED lighting that syncs with the music.

    I think you can turn off the led from the app. These are meant to be better than the jbl extreme.

  Can highly recommend this one, long time user of Motion+ and now the Boom Plus. Sound is pretty awesome.

  App is good but completely optional. You can even use it as a powerbank.
