  Re cleaning your balls … I have a few data points that may help.
  
  Dogs balls … well they never get a wash as nobody is game to pick them after after they've been in the dogs mouth. I presume being plastic they'd wash fine.
  
  Cleans kids balls well … soccer & rugby balls as the outer material is similar. Yet to try it on tennis balls as we just chuck them in the washing cycle with sweaty clothing.
