Edit: Multiple users are saying you can use the vouchers on any movie as they are generic. Also, I believe you can only claim 4 tickets to your associated Origin email address.

I'm not sure if this is targeted but I received an email from Origin to redeem a free double pass to see either Despicable Me 4 or Inside Out 2 with promo code 'OriginWinterHolidays' through their website https://www.originmovies.com.au/.

I have already claimed for both movies and received the vouchers to my email and booked the movies through Event Cinemas. I'm not sure if there is a limit or if it's until they run out.

    Nice of them to offer this and all but I wouldn't take pleb seats even if tickets were free. Hoyts Lux/Village Gold or nothing. I hate sitting so close to people I don't know.

        A lot of the lessons are probably more aimed at 7+ but it is by no means inappropriate for a 4yo. Some pretty complex and thought provoking stuff in there even for me. Then again kids take in more than we know. It’s a good time, plenty of stuff there for the little ones to have fun too.

      Lucky you! The free adult ones I received have expiry of 30/04/2025, the paid child ($15) one expires on 31/08/2024 - should've used cheaper ones from Shopback….

          From the email received it appears that way. If you purchased tickets for Hoyts, Village cinemas or palace cinemas the voucher received is confirmation of tickets. You need to buy tickets from the cinema website using the vouchers.

    Thanks OP. Worked with inactive account with no active connection. Got two village cinema vouchers which is much better than tickets as I couldn't find tickets for the session I wanted to go.

    For those of you getting security error on Chrome or Chromium based browsers, try using Microsoft Edge, that worked for me.

        To be more precise, after you decide on a cinema brand e.g. Hoyts, you can just choose any one of one of the date and time, it will send you vouchers that are not locked to any particular date and time. You can then redeem the voucher with the cinema brand you chose for any available movie session within their T&C.

    Those getting not enough tickets, make sure you go to Tickets instead of Vouchers.

    I got that error under Voucher. What you want is Tickets. On the payment page, there's an input for the code. That's what makes it free.
