Was planning to wait for a price drop on the 900W model to replace my old one that died after about 7 years, but stumbled across this deal for the 1200W.

There are a handful of reviews suggesting this one is a lot louder, but they don't seem to state whether that's in comparison to the 600W or 900W model.

Price an all-time low according to 3 Camels.

  • FYI I just checked and this is NOT compatible with the 600/900 series cups and lids

  • I've heard the build quality of these is appalling and Vitamix are much better.

For 5-10x the price of a nutribullet, you'd hope so.

I've heard Vitamix are decent but hiring a personal chef to make you smoothies is much better.

While this is true, once you start factoring in replacement parts and inconvenience, the price difference isn't so clear cut. I have had the NutraNinja and replaced so many sets of blades. They're really bad quality / warranty. I had considered trying these guys even just to deal with another spare parts company instead, but if these guys are going to be the same, then I'm already looking at a Vitamix next.

        • I have a Nutribullet and Ive yet to buy a replacement part.

I also appreciate this is blended in a cup which can be taken with me.

Good find. Link here for those with a membership.

  • i think it is cheaper in the good guys, i saw an ad last night on TV but did not check it my self. i think was for 89

    • 900W model

1200 watt motor will also shred your ears. 900 max for a pleasant blend without the industrial deafness grade noise.

  • Ninja Bn500 is a better unit https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/ninja-blender-pro-with-auto-i…. $104 with good guys price beat check.

    • Is it? how? (honest question)

      • +2

Get 3 cups with the ninja, the safety clips on the side of the cups only needed to be twisted to activate without having to push down and twist like other similar blenders. Not having to push down is less stress on the motor housing over the long term as I've got older units where the plastic housing has cracked around the safety tab areas due to stress over long term use.

Also get 2 years warranty according to the good guys website.
