  • Is it 5 months free prime music for non-members or free unlimited music for 5 months for regular prime members?
When I click the music link I get the following page -

    We're sorry
We're very sorry, but we're having trouble doing what you just asked us to do.

Please give us another chance - click the Back button on your browser and try your request again.

Click here to return to the Amazon home page

    • It says only new subscribers

I just tried in incognito mode and the link worked with the following

        1 month
        5 months FREE
        Limited-time only
        Sign up and pay now
AUD 12.99/month after. Renews automatically. New subscribers only. Limited time offer. Terms apply.

^^ I'm an existing Prime member and can confirm the above worked for me - thanks!

  • There’s a whole bunch of starting dates there …

  • Kindle says it has audiobooks.
    Audible has audiobooks.

    What's the difference…

    • +1

Kindle includes Limited number of audiobooks and usually the ones that are not in high demand

    • With audible you get a monthly credit to buy one of the majority of audiobooks. But with the subscription comes thousands of readily available ones too (presumably the same batch as kindle unlimited).

So if there are specific titles you're after, you'll likely be SOL.

    • It's the same. Audiobooks you buy via Kindle shows up in your Audible account. But if you buy the ebook first, the audiobook usually can be bought at a lower price than a monthly Audible subscription.

Thanks for the post but kinda confused.

Cheers, got Amazon Music and Kindle Unlimited free trials as above on my existing Prime sub.

  • I'm confused. I signed up, but to clarity - it's just for amazon music? I don't seem to have access to price video etc.

FYI for those considering Audible; Spotify has introduced a massive catalogue of audiobooks that are included in their premium subscription at no extra charge.

    • Are there ways to save Spotify audio books for use outside the Spotify app - eg if I want to listen via my old MP3 player?

    • +1

With a 13 hour limit per month.

      • Yep 13 hours a month is a stupid limit for audiobooks…just as your getting into the story it cuts out and leaves you hanging for a month…better than nothing though i guess.

  • Is Kindle unlimited access to any ebook sold by Amazon?

    • Nah just selected ones.

  • I thought Amazon music came with prime.

    • +7

Amazon Music comes with Prime. It's very limited in available music and features. This 5 months free trial is for Amazon Music Unlimited, which is more like Spotify, etc.

Worked on a dormant account without prime. 5 months free prime music.

    • Yes! Also worked for me on a regular account w/o prime. 5 mths free AMZN music unlimited.

Where does the deal link talks about audible, kindle and prime video?

  • +2

    I got charged

    • Should try with new account. But I used my older account for this promo.

I have 3 amazon accounts (1 almost finish for amazon music free trial). I tried with 1 of those 3 amazon accounts and I got free trial amazon music for 5 months 😄. The payment card is actually disabled. I disabled some of my cards for online payments in the bank apps. Certain banks have feature to disable card for online payment, gambling, local only or also overseas payment. For this amazon account, I use Up bank with disabled card (neobank, no branches and has virtual card too). Very useful ;-) NAB app can disable card for online payment in the setting too. Wise (Transferwise previously) can also disable card in their app and virtual cards are available too.

    • Maybe try to appeal/cancel that transaction. Certain bank can undo/cancel transaction after it happened when we appeal.

      • ive cancelled and refunded

    • Me too.

  • Thanks OP for the info of free trial Amazon Music 5 months 😄

  • As an existing member I got a free 1-month on audible. Used the credit and cancelled straight away

  • Awesome 🤩

I got three free months on Audible, had to click through a banner otherwise would've been one month only - cheers OP.

    • +1

Thanks. I kept trying and getting no where. Managed to get the 3 with your advice.

  • I got 1 month free Prime offer a few weeks ago, now 3 months free Audible, so good..

  • Thanks OP. I'm an apple music user, but use a Garmin fenix watch, so Amazon music is the easiest way to get music sync'd to the watch.
    (what a mashup up platforms…)

  • Are you able to cancel immediately and hold onto the free trial?

    • Yes. I've already done that. Cancelled and it says still available until November.

  • After join Amazon music, will I get Amazon prime too?

    • That's up to you.
