  • Had to make a new account and use my wifes mobile number but worth it

  • Anyone with monthly code "Get back on the OnePass wagon and get your first month back for FREE!^", cancelled theirs monthly plan and successfully apply $12 afterwards?

    • Nope I had to make a new account

  • Can anyone with experience with both advise what are the advantages of the OnePass app over just Flybuys?

    • +1

Free shipping but only certain products at Bunnings plus longer return period + bonus points.

    • Flybuys member dont get free delivery while OnePass member does
you also earn x5 flybuys points when scanning OnePass membership card

  • Confirmed working with expired membership (mine expired in last month)
Just go to OnePass app, and switch to "Rewards" tab and Join plan from the popup website

    • Yep. Got email offer for my expired account too

  • Got mine for BF last year… so mine still valid til Oct-ish… @tightarse wonder what your colleague will be able to do then🤩

  • could we disable "auto renew" ?

    • you can cancel right away and still enjoy the benefit until current membership expires

  • +2

Available to existing customer as well, just renew my plan for $12, thanks

    • How do you renew? I am on a trial and I don't see this offer anywhere.

  • Anyone used their 365 day change of mind returns at Officeworks?
Any conditions or exclusions for change of mind returns

    • Maybe read the T&Cs, probably has to be unused, unopened etc.

    • From memory, tech and electrical is excluded by all except Kmart, and after a certain time the refund is store credit only (this may have only been at some).

But yes, my memory is sketchy so read the T&C's.

Anyone signing up a new account you need a new mobile#… and cancelling existing account is not instant - it stays in a 'cancelling' state until your end date hits… annoying!

This mobile number is already linked to an existing OnePass account.
Please verify your email address to change your mobile number (to change new account mobile# to a fresh one)

  • Thanks, got the offer as a returning customer.

    • Same offer for my inactive account.

  • Cheers mate, Cancelled my trial and claimed.

    • How did you do this? I am on a trial also… cancelled it and it does not let me join again due to mobile conflict.

  • Thanks for the heads up have over 100days on current and went to cancel and they gave us the $12 another year when current expires!

  • +1

for inactive member don't need to use this link just click renew then the $12 option is shown there

  • +2

Sorry if this has been answered above, I could not find it.

For a new account, when I click on "Claim now" it takes me to "Start your free trial".
After that point, will it offer the choice between a free trial or this 12 month deal?

    • +5

Yeah it's confusing but after you create your account and verify, the option to get the $12 annual pass comes up (and says there's no free trial). I reckon they were lazy and just used an existing page for signup.

      • Thanks

      • Thanks both came here for exactly this question and reply.

  • +2

I canceled but didn’t get the offer…mine expires in the end of September.

    • Same, how sad 😞

  • +1

Any tips for what people buy using OnePass to save money? I just signed up for the first time. Thanks

    • +2

It’s probably more the saving on fuel for me. Don’t have to do a 20min round trip every time I need something from Bunnings and Kmart!

      • Yep, I used to feel bad about the extra emissions from ordering this stuff delivered, until it occurred to me that it's more efficient to have a courier drive in a loop around the neighbourhood rather than everyone driving to Kmart/Bunnings themselves

  • My subscription expires in October. I clicked 'cancel membership', and they offered me $12. Now, my next payment amount shows $12. Thanks!
So I guess it is not just for new subscriptions?

  • on a side note - 5x points for in store purchase in target & kmart, not for bunnings and OW.
1 or 2 purchase delivered is good enough to cover $12 - everything else is bonus!

    • It is pretty definitive on their website that Bunnings and Officeworks is included. If it's not, then it's cause for complaint!

      • 5x points for bunnings & ow with click and collect not in store purchase.

      • This post says “5x Flybuys points in-store and with Click & Collect orders at Kmart, Target, Bunnings, and Officeworks” so which one is it?

Also can we just link our Flybuys card or do we have to also link Kmart and Bunnings accounts?

        • I linked my ass off lol. Linked all retailers one by one, entered FlyBuys into OnePass portal, and then had a look at each individual retailer to see if there was a place to add Flybuys into the settings for them.

          • @Charlie Dont Surf: I started doing the same and then struggled with Bunnings as I think the email address needs to be identical. I thought if the Flybuys card was linked to onepass then we shouldn’t have to do the rest…

  • I don't buy much from any of those stores throughout a year,
other than points for C&C, is this a good deal for shoppers like myself?

    • if you always want C&C then not much value. I am too lazy to C&C. And also Kmart offer free shipping for clearance items with onepass so maybe there is not stock around you.

    • If you don't buy at all from any of these places then don't bother but for $12 you only need to buy once or twice and it would already make up the value.

  • +1

I click cancel and offered $12 to renew in Oct as well. Thanks TA!

    • Thank you both so much. Worked for me as well.

  • What are people's experiences with Bunnings? Are most moderately-sized items regarded as "eligible orders", including garden products such as mulches and soils etc?

    • +1

well ymmv but it does state:

OnePass members get free standard delivery on eligible parcel-sized* online orders when purchased via the Bunnings website or Bunnings app. This applies to Bunnings’ current product range available online, excluding Special Orders, Marketplace items, and gift cards. OnePass cannot be used in conjunction with PowerPass.
      *Standard parcel dimensions:
      Max weight 22kgs
      Max length 100cm x height 70cm x width 60cm
      Max dimensions 0.25 cubic metres
We currently cannot deliver to some remote postcodes but are working hard to be able to offer delivery options to as much of Australia as possible.

      • Thanks, missed that detail.

        • might get away with single bag orders of mulch/soil looking at those dimensions.

  • Thanks just signed up. Where it says 0 of 7 participating brands activated, is there any reason not to activate them?

    • +1

you need to individually linked each brand
eg. when you link flybuys, it requires you to login to flybuys account
when you link bunnings, it requires you to login to bunnings

      • Decided to sign up too and have been doing the same.

Linked flybuys then the retailers. Didn't have an account for most anyway (pointless) but assume it's better to sign up to the retailer then link Onepass in the likelihood in won't bother with onepass after the first cheap year.. or doesn't matter and you'll still have an account with OW (for example, minutes the onepass extras)?

Also if flybuys is linked, seems easier just to scan Onepass in store etc.

  • Thanks OP worked for me

  • +11

How come everyone got their $12 retention offer? Except me! I clicked cancel, then it went straight to 'We've cancelled your membership'…

    • Mine too.

    • Same.

    • I’ve tried cancelling twice—first on the website using the Firefox iOS browser, then on the OnePass iOS app. Both times, I got a “We’re sad to see you go” message with an option to continue cancelling, or “maybe later”.

It crossed my mind that the $12 retention offer might pop up if I continued the cancellation process, but I was too chicken to try and find out.

      • Lol cancel early will cost you more, no doubt they will have this deal again or similar.

  • Signed up, thanks

  • +5

TA could you please contact your contact and ask if they could offer up a link somehow for those of us whose cancellation was already in process and pending to a future date, so we can un-cancel our cancelling and renew instead at this better offer rate. Thank you.

    • +2

I’ve hassled them on live chat about this and they don’t (or can’t) do anything :/

      • Shame, but thanks for trying and for the update.

  • So I've signed up and linked my Flybuys account. To get the 5x points in Bunnings, do I just scan my flybuys as normal at the checkout?

    • +1

I believe you can simply scan OnePass

      • How do you get my OnePass Card to be able to scan, do they mail or email it ?

        • +1

          OnePass app -> My cards
or go to the "Cards" tab

you can also add to digital wallet from the app

          • @littlesoldier: Thanks
So you need to download the app ?

            • +1

@chrisie: You can use the website as well, but not as convenient as opening the openpass app / digital wallet

              • +2

@littlesoldier: It's getting to be a pain as everything is using an app these days

                • @chrisie: For me I just add to apple wallet (via the app)
then I can delete the app

                • @chrisie: I feel your pain. Whenever I can't get hold of a physical card, I save it as a screenshot in a separate folder/album and then use that.

Got the $12 retention offer for September renewal hectic! Ta TA

  • Thanks.

  • +1

Cancelled my existing membership and got no $12 offer. No harm just buy less.

  • I didn't get the offer first time pretending to cancel. Closed the app and turned off VPN and tried cancel again. Got the $12 renewal offer in 81 days (Sept)
    Thanks OP!

  • Cancelled my membership which was due to renew in October but didn't get the $12 offer. Now no option to do anything at all to the membership which is ''Cancelling''. Good way to lose customers.

  • Signed up and ordered some socks from Kmart - my feet are cold.

  • Help - my membership expires in September. I can’t take this offer. So existing membership those who already cancelled are not meant to come back due to this promotion? Seriously.

  • FYI if you were a customer and had your account deactivated, you’re not able to open a new account with the same email! I tried this morning and they firmly told me to use another address, which I don’t have…

    • When you say "deactivated" do you mean you cancelled & it expired?
If you cancel can you reactivate providing it hasn't expired yet?

  • Well, that's gonna substantially reduce my odds of getting Kmart clearance stuff :D

  • My Onepass expires in January.
Is there any downside to cancelling to see if I get the $12 offer?
I presume if I don't get the offer I can still use Onepass until the expiry date?
Can I reactivate my account later (with same email & flybuys) if no other offers come up?
Or is it just extremely unlikely I will be offered $12 & I should just wait?

    • No downside that I can see, I already cancelled as soon as I subscribed

  • +1

mine supported to expire Jan 2024 , press cancel memership, calim$12 offer

    Next payment
    Date: 14 January 2025
    Amount: $12

    • It worked!
I pressed cancel membership & then got a pop-up offer, pressed claim offer & it changed my next payment in January to be $12 (instead of $40).
This happens before you press the second cancel membership button.

      • +2

Didn’t work for me. No $12 pop up offer😢

        • Yep, mine just cancelled.

    • Mine is 29/1 but no offer for me.

  • Many Thanks TA, worked for my inactive account.
    Cheers

  • Thanks Op my account was inactive and sucessfully renewed the $12 offer

  • Got the deal!

    Now what?
