Thoughts between These Two Gaming Machines?

Deciding on buying one of these two machines

Asus ROG Strix G10DK Gaming Desktop
Processor: - AMD Ryzen 7 5800X (Octa-core)
Graphics Card: - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 8GB
RAM: - 16GB
Storage: - 512GB SSD
Operating System: - Windows 11 Home
Connectivity: - Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) - Bluetooth 5.1 - USB 3.2, USB 2.0 ports - HDMI, VGA

Acer Nitro 50 Gaming Desktop
Processor: - Intel Core i7 (12th Gen, 16-core)
Graphics Card: - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 8GB
RAM: - 16GB
Storage: - 512GB SSD
Operating System: - Windows 11 Home
Connectivity: - Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) - Bluetooth 5.0 - USB 3.2, USB 2.0 ports - HDMI, VGA

Been told the Acer is the better system thanks to the Intel Core i7 but other then that, they are matched identically pretty much.

Tried looking up reviews but the Asus pops up alot, not alot on that specific Acer Nitro 50 (there are a few versions)

Both are priced identically at $900, so just deciding between the two

Anybody had an experience with them, know any other side problems (both apparently get hot)

EDIT: To be used on Gaming only, forgot to add.

Why not go for a 4060 system?

Absolutely this, would expect an RTX4060 minimum at this price point. Or an RTX 4060ti if building yourself with sales.

  • What resolution are you gaming at and what games?

  • I bought an asus system during the GPU explosion of prices, the case was garbage and the internals are just generic parts.

They're designed to take to LANs, lightweight, easy to carry and have more lighting power than the MCG. They're also lacking insulation and in the end I took out the CPU, GPU and storage built another system instead, then sold off the shell of the rest.

  • What is the budget you're playing with?
    Can you go more?
    Can you build your own?

  • Between just those two, the i7 one. Unless the Ryzen has a better screen or is made of metal while the i7 is made of plastic or something like that.

  • I'm running the Ryzen 7 5800x with a 3060ti and so far, it's very good. I did put 64gb of ram in it-up from 16gb. I was always using intel before. I'd be trying to get a better graphics card.

  • It would be a stretch to call RTX 3050's gaming PC's, need better GPU's
