  • This or Anker GanPrime?

Do you mean the 735 GanPrime? Different form factor. Just depends whether you want a compact all-in-one design, or a flatter hub-like unit with interchangeable cables (handy for international travel).

Anker 543 is more comparable to this. I'd prefer the Anker 543, because it's thinner than this (although, I think it's capped at 45W on a single port, if you want laptop charging).

(I don't own any of the above - but I do have a 735 Nano II. I would avoid the Nano II and get the 735 GanPrime instead.)

    • The Anker is a little heavy for wall sockets (vertical), may work loose when plugging/unplugging USB cables.

It's more suited for horizontally placed power board, it has a small footprint, doesn't block adjacent sockets, and doesn't protrude beyond the wide of the power board.

I've got the 100W version (also on sale at seventy bucks) and it works very well. Runs laptops fine. https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0BXKFCBCF?psc=1

    • Mind you camels check indicates the 100w one spends a lot of time "on sale" at current price https://au.camelcamelcamel.com/product/B0BXKFCBCF?cpf=amazon…

100W with coupon at $59 is sweet spot, as $69 is regular occurrence price.

        • promo code doesnt work with 100w :(

        • okiii i wait 4 that then

    • chat thoughts on tbis? NOVOO 67W USB C Charger with 2 PD 100W Type-C Cables, GaN III 3-Port Compact Fast PPS Wall Charger Foldable, for MacBook Pro 14'', Dell XPS 13, iPad Pro, iPhone 15, Galaxy S24 Ultra, Note 20 etc https://amzn.asia/d/00H6rbpl

Thanks - already have the 100w version and love it, wanted another for travelling but spending $70 wasn't tempting enough… 65W is enough and for $50 is decent so bought!

These are great for travelling as you can just swap in a cord with the right plug to match where you're going

I would recommend getting the 100W or over if you can.

I dont have this particular model but I have Satechi and Anker. 65W will not charge/power both laptop and phone at the same time.

My Anker will not even charge the laptop if I simply USB-C cable connected to second port with no device.

  • can it power something like a rodcaster duo?

    • That says it needs 9v at 3a, or 27w. So yes.

      • sweet!! saves me more plugs!!

  • Hmmm so the port only does 65w if ome type c being used.

pretty sure this would charge my lenovo x1 carbon (which uses type c) right

    think my lapotp needs 65w.

i want one of this or something small that has type c so can use instead of carrying the type c powerbrick

    • I've got a Dell Inspiron Plus 15. With a RTX 3050 & i5-11400H.

With the dedicated GPU running I'm sure it wouldn't charge, as it ships with a 130w brick.

But I've tested this Ugreen 65w browsing the web and hwinfo shows it charging my battery fine at the 25w maximum. Running on the iGPU of course. Seems my system load is about 18 - 30w running on battery when I check hwinfo. You could do the same.

    • I have a carbon x1 too and this will charge it no worries

  • Would be nice if there were some type of universal figure 8 power chords that I could just swap / take with me when traveling. Would make it much easier to use this as a travel charger

    • +2

Sockets can be somewhat universal, how can plugs be universal?

You just get IEC-C7 cables with the plugs you need.

  • Don’t bother, just buy the 100w version for $69 right now. Had one for 3 months and it’s great!

  • Bought the 200W version and it's a beast.

  • The 100W is the sweet spot for me. We have 4 of them (2 from China taobao and mail forwarder before the AU release, and 2 from Amazon AU once it was released here).

  • I'm thinking to buy a charger for my travel, should i get this version or the 100W version?

Is it gonna be discounted further on the prime day?
