Not the cheapest they've ever been, but I've had my eye on these for quite a while, and this is the cheapest I've seen in that time.

Great headphones. Grab some USB C or Lightning adapters from AliExpress so you don't have to deal with the Shokz charger. Always keep one at my desk and one in the car though the battery life is really good anyway

    • Good call. I actually planned to order some for my existing pair of aftershokz aeropex, and looks like these have the same magnetic connector and will be compatible as well.

    • Great tip, thanks

    • fantastic…thanks so much. This is my biggest complaint with this headset, and I am always afraid of losing the charger. Now I can have multiple chargers around!

    • legend, thanks for sharing.

  • What’s the cheapest this has been so far?

    • I paid $188 on Amazon.

    • +1

$150.4 from wireless1 ebay november last year

      • Pro?

        • yep

      • $156.64
        I also bought a pair

  • I tried the pro and non pro versions of these a couple of weeks ago in Japan and found the non pro model to be louder (especially noticeable in the loud department store). Ended up buying the non pro version for around $140aud

    • +1

My dog has chewed through two pro's and thought I would save money and get the non-pro, however, after testing my partner's non-pro, I feel the base is so much better in the Pro.

So thank you OP, I'll be jumping on this deal.

      • +1

No problem, hope your dog doesn't get his teeth around this one 😄

  • Do these have the Google assistant? Can you do okay google to wake them up ?

I bought some cheap bone conduction ones from ali express so I can use ear plugs and listen to music on my motorbike. Works really well just hard to get under the helmet. These look slimer profile.

    • $50 gets you fodsports Bluetooth helmet comms, so much better than bone conduction. I wear earplugs on the mc too.

      • But is it so loud that everyone can hear ?

        • Nope just you, unless the helmet is off your head, and you've got the volume full bore, that's probably the only time you can hear it.

I have and love then non pro but the new open swim pro just came out which adds being waterproof with an inbuilt MP3 player into it. The charger is a new one though so any older magnetic connector you might have will not work with it.
Apparently releasing to AU later this year. Out in US now.

    • +1

The old open swims only had mp3 from memory - do the new ones do bluetooth as well?

      • +1

Yep. Basically best of both worlds.

  • Also recommend the non pro version. Been using it for laps in the pool and been really good. The non pro has a better water rating

  • My heart says yes to the bargain, my head says i m not ready for this technology yet 💀

    • If someone in here paid less than $199- it’s not a bargain…

      • +1

Not every bargain is going to be the all time lowest price…

  • How have people with these found mic quality in a noisy office environment? Considering these or the OpenComm2 (with the boom mic)… or sticking with the over-ear options

    • Pretty good. But bear in mind that you'll still be hearing all the noisy office noise - so although the other party will be able to hear you nicely you'll still be hearing about why Janet hates it here and is going to quit if Ben sends her another mail like that and why Adam shouldn't be sleeping with Stephanie, she's better than that.

      • Sounds like your workplace has more going on than mine does!

    • I've used the original Aeropex headset during mandatory office days and no complaints (aside from me complaining about the absolute pointlessness of being in the office, instead of working remotely).

  • Another 10% off on flash sale of you are willing? I got 183 delivered.
