Definitely - I bought a set of genuine Deutsch crimpers and I still use my old trusty $50 pair every day and only pull the genuine ones out for precision work like ECU wiring ect. Seems like a waste but they are nice to use.
I think they have a lifetime warranty, not sure if that applies with Amazon purchases.
Price is showing $280.92 now.
if you need all the dies it’s not too bad considering a set of jaws might be $40 and it comes with 5, but if you don’t need all the dies it’s a bit pricey, and then it’s finding the dies if you need them if it doesn’t come with a case. case for the crimpers and dies.
So expensive, decided to check out clones

Does the job I think, fraction of the price, but am guessing not as high quality and reliable.
i used to work in electronics and crimpers were one of my daily tool, it’s gets to point where they don’t improve much, so the flat pressed plate one for $10 are limiting but when you get to the swappable die one which are wide, they are much the same.
Don't buy these! 'Changeable jaws' is almost theoretical, see my comment below.
This one is also around 70% off:

don’t think comes with full set of dies ?
yep, no dies
Now showing $308.01 again
Back down to $280, grabbed one, thanks.
Definitely a specialist tool, no point grabbing this unless you're a travelling industrial electrician or technician…
If anyone wants something very effective but much cheaper I couldn't recommend this more:

I absolutely love these, a joy to use. I had a nearly identical set from ali but with these quick change jaws the difference is night and day.
With a 3D printed stand I made for the dies I got the change down to under 5 secs. When I tried to swap dies on the more commonly available pair it took about an hour and the dies never lined up quite right.
edit: The 3D printed stand is totally excessive, without it I can still change the dies in ~10 secs.
For a $1000 RRP, you'd be pretty steaming mad if they ever broke … or … you know … failed to do the job!
And … yes … I get why professionals buy these type of
expensivetools. They be dear as *&#% for most, but if you're using it every day, you want something that you can rely on.
