$364.04 after Officeworks Price Beat Guarantee: https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/google-nes…

    • Called officeworks Vermont. They wont price beat as warranty is not mentioned on mydeal website.

They’re full of it. Try a different store. All they require is the GTIN to match the barcode in the specs.

Mydeal does a lot of grey imports that’s possibly what they’re concerned about

At this point, the ozb community can start a wiki listing all the bs excuses officeworks make before they would price match

  • Picked up the three pack of the Nest Pros from Bunnings Bethania on the weekend for $301. I also grabbed a single unit for $101. It looked they still had stock.

    • Do you mind sharing the link? I tried searching for it on the website but couldn't find any.

    • Your kidding. I saw a single unit at my local still advertising $189. Asked if they were still $99. She scanned and said "nah $189" is this a staff deal or something??

Not a staff deal, just on clearance.

        • Probably all it's worth given how many complaints there are on Reddit.

  • Sold out.

    • I'm shocked at how fast this sold out. There were 18 left at 9:30 AEDT.

  • Had it in my basket last night but changed my mind after all the mixed reviews. We currently have the OG nest wifi and it’s still ticking along fine. Might wait for the redo’s to go on sale again.

  • Returned it yesterday. Never once I had to disconnect WAN cable to change pppoe credentials on other devices. it appears the app only works and with “Internet connection” and unplugging WAN to change the settings????? Not sure if it’s because I changed the default IP range. But I’ve never seen anything as dumb. Had to do a factory reset just to change the pppoe username/passwords. Couldn’t be bothered to re-config everything after spending an hour with Google support. Definitely won’t recommend it.
