This post contains affiliate links. OzBargain might earn commissions when you click through and make purchases. Please see this page for more information.

You'll have access to Shattered Space DLC as soon as it's released and I'd be willing to bet this will be cheaper than buying it at launch separately.

Please note this doesn't include the Starfield game and you will need to have either purchased a copy of Starfield or have a game pass subscription and get Starfield that way in order to access this content.

  • SteelBook Display Case
  • Constellation Patch
  • Shattered Space Story Expansion (upon release)
  • Constellation Skin Pack: Equinox Laser Rifle,
    Spacesuit, Helmet and Boost Pack
  • Access to Starfield Digital Artbook & Original Soundtrack

User bluey47 has found the same deal cheaper at EBGames for $23, check here first! https://www.ebgames.com.au/product/xbox-series-x/266792-star…

  • Is this worth getting for XBSX ? :) seen bench marking for this game that's all

No Physical Games worth to buy on XBSX, as the disc only glamorous digital key storage. 99% all XBSX disc only have the key, or some part of the game, you have to download the game from the server to be able to play it. It is something to do with most XBSX games is only bluray, not even UHD bluray, so not enough space

      • Worth it if you dont need to keep it, want to sell it or want to give it away. Can't do that with digital.

There is no disk with this. The deal is that it’s a DLC code for less than the DLC costs to buy digitally. Buying this digitally costs $59, so over twice as much even with a 10% discount for being a GamePass member.

This is just the Premium Upgrade, the main attraction to this would be the Shattered Space DLC coming out later this year (which looks awesome btw).

It's quite a polarising game unfortunately lol. I feel the majority of people aren't a fan but there are some people that love it and it's still in the most played games list on xbox. I'd definitely say get a game pass subscription for a month or the 14 day trial (if you haven't used trial offer yet) to give it a try for yourself, it's quite hard to predict if you'll be a person that likes or dislikes it.

      • The game isn't great but not bad either. The only thing I hate are all the bugs on console. It's frustrating to have to load a previous save file hours before just to get an achievement.

In the end I gave up getting 100%

I feel like in 5 years time Starfield might be a game worth playing. It feels very underdone even by Bethesda standards.

    • Starfield is getting one expansion each year, according to Todd Howard. Though i suspect if the sales of the game go poorly or people don't buy the expansions they might drop the annual expansion idea and move onto the next game.

They also recently released the Creation Kit for the game on Steam so if you are Pc Master Race you'll also get to enjoy the community made mods (hopefully without needing to pay anything extra) and also make mods yourself.

      • If sales aren’t hitting expectation, or even if they are, I can see them giving it a boost with a delayed PS5 launch tbh. Seems to be the strategy MS are moving towards.

Replace starfield and Bethesda with cyberpunk and CDPR and you could almost see this comment word for word in the cyberpunk threads. It will get fixed and sooner than 5 years, Bethesda have shown commitment like CDPR did.

      No mans Sky
      Elite Dangerous

2 titles that have a smaller budget and do everything and more that this failure can't.

    • Wont take that long. The main thing they need to fix is include vehicles. Its a waste of time to freaking run over to a point of interest. They already showed a glimpse of them working onthis in one of the recent videos. There are some other things they should improve but its not a deal breaker. Other than that its a very engaging game. As soon as vehicles are added I'm jumping back in.

  • When are they going to fix the gameplay of the original game? Wish they did a CP2077…fix the base then release the add-on.

  • Would this be cross platform PC/XBX since the Game Pass version of the game is Play Anywhere?

    • +1

I haven't tried it personally so take with a grain of salt but there's a bunch of posts on Reddit that confirm that the code you get in the premium edition upgrade works for both the Xbox and PC version, like you said because of the play anywhere feature.

Would love to have someone who has personally used this in that way confirm though!

      • +2

Can confirm that it works, didn't have a Series X until after I redeemed the code on the PC Xbox app.

Ding ding, yep good find. I'm going to add it to main post and give you credit, if you disapprove just let me know and I'll remove straight away

Edit: with delivery it's about 5 cents cheaper, still good find for click and collect though!

  • Thanks OP! I just picked this up as there was no EB near me with it in stock.

I found the game to pretty underwhelming at launch. Although the latest big patch addresses a lot of concerns from me from a quality of life perspective.

The Shattered Space reveal at the Xbox showcase does look really good!

  • There's no way I could apply this to my steam version of the game right?

    • Buying this only gets you a digital key that must be redeemed on the game platform or microsoft store app. You can't apply the code to Steam.

  • No stock around my place.
The delivery fee is cheaper in Big W hmm….

  • I just got it from Big W as teh delivery fee of $4 was much better than the fee from EB. No nearby EB with stock
