Order refund/cancellation just arrived
Agree with others, Bekant (corner desks at least) are inherently wobbly due to using only 2 legs with huge feet, instead of a traditional 4 leg desk, and a super thin and light table top. They do get more stable if you load them up with weight at least.
After a few years the edge banding also started to peel away in the inner corner, which is super annoying as well. Oh and they're a weird non-square shape so they don't line up nicely with each other or another rectangular desk.
Can't say I'm super satisfied with my purchase of 2x corner desks at full price. For $89 you can't argue they're good value regardless.
Same here, incredibly annoyingly wobbly desk, I even complained to Ikea and they send 2 new legs, which did not fit right away because of a minor change in design, and it did not get any (any) better.
I ended up attaching 4 legs ("Adils"?), now I do not want to burn the desk so much anymore.
Not worth even 89$ imho.
Sit stand frames are all out of stock at Perth. Had to settle for a non adjustable desk.
Ordered sit/stand desk reasonably early yesterday for Click & Collect while stock level was still good, but I was told by the Ikea CS Chat that it is unlikely they will be able to fulfilled as it is now out-of-stock everywhere :(

Ok guys, so I bought 2 Bekant desks and paid for delivery. They processed delivery for 2x table frame earlier today, and they are now cancelling and refunding my 2x table top. :) :) :) I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else LMAO
I wonder other table tops would fit into your frame? Like universal frames?
I was one of the many lucky ones who collected their sit/stand underframes from North Lakes tonight. Had to get my table top from Logan but the extra driving as worth the saving I guess.
I'm also looking at the oikiture one. Could you help to check if lockable castors can be screwed onto the bottom of the legs? Thanks a lot.
There were 32 white 160x80 tabletops at Logan this morning, but by the time I got there they were all gone. :(

For those interested, there were quite a number (at least 10 each of black and white) Bekant sit/stand 120x80 under-frame (without table top) at the Perth Innaloo branch as of this morning, located in the area before the check-outs, going for $104. I wonder if a table top size of say 140/150 wide will fit on such an under-frame. Also having second thoughts on this line after reading more reviews.

IKEA Logan delivered me an under-frame, the table top is still pending and on back order. I wanted to make sure I'd get both, hence why I sprung for the delivery instead of trying my luck in store and whatever dwindling levels of stock they'd have. Alas, it happened anyway.
With any luck either I'll get the table top or they'll let me keep the legs with a refund but without needing to send them back.
I'm in the same position. I think I'm going to threaten a chargeback if they don't send the tabletop. There's no way I'm going out of my way to return the underframe at their convenience.
Its a really bad policy to send part of a table in the hopes they have the other part.

I went to Logan yesterday and did some investigations. We should be able to use any tabletop with a width of 110-140 and a depth of 60-80. Ikea sells plenty with pre-drilled holes at the back which will just have to be disregarded.
The holes may not align.
What are the choices for the 180cm UPPSPEL underframe?

No tabletops were available so we are getting a custom made desk top from beautiful WA timber from Red Gum Timberworks in Gnangara. We are getting a blackbutt top but he does jarrah and other hardwoods also. Can’t wait!!
Poor service from Ikea. Prices keep going up but service and standards keep declining. Was supposed to pick up my click and collect order Saturday afternoon and they never even bothered to inform my they had run out of stock. I had to proactively contact them and ask for a refund. adjö

I’ve got the legs but no table tops, if you could buy an alternative table top would you? And which one. I thought about getting the Karlby but kinda expensive…
I bought one of these recently to replace my Bekant desktop after I tried to mount my case under the desk and was reminded that Ikea desks are nothing more than cardboard wrapped in plywood.

Anyway I've been really happy with it. Looks nice and solid MDF so you can screw into it. I think I paid $55 for the 140x70cm and it arrived in a week.
