Have (or find) two current gen console games that EB value at greater or equal to $10, pay no more for upcoming Switch releases, this time including:

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, release Sept-26 2024
Super Mario Party Jamboree, release Oct-17 2024
Mario & Luigi: Brothership, release Nov-7 2024
Donkey Kong Country Returns HD, release Jan-16 2025

N.B.1 Expiry is 7 days post release, so trade-in is for pre-ordering or in first week of new release.

N.B.2 This is the last available list of eligible games at EB but it's from January and outdated. Employees aren't suppose to provide list, but they can quote the trade-in value when asked. As a rough rule, if the title is priced at ≥$28 pre-owned by EB it will generally slide in at or just above $10.

      Either or. I traded 1 PS5 game and 1 Switch game.

      I didn't think of the value itself, I just wanted to jump in on the freebie deal since it comes out in a day.

      If you have more modern/AAA PS5 titles or something more valuable it may very well indeed be worth waiting for better trade deal itself.

              I've already traded other things for Zelda, hmm will have to take a look at what else they have.

              Ace Attorney Investigations is part of the deal now apparently.. that's tempting even though it's a little cheaper than normal anyway :D

  Wow, some of my things I took in today were worth a little more than the $10 required, and in hindsight I should have dug through for some older stuff instead..

  PS5 - Dead Island 2 ($36 trade value @Lvl 3)
  Switch - 13 Sentinels (from Friday's Big W deal, $36 trade value @Lvl 3)

        Good tip.

        I used Diablo with this Switch game today, along with a JB $10 birthday voucher, so my pre-order for Donkey Kong comes in at $20 (and then I can salary package my CC repayments through work so it actually comes to net $10.60 lol).

        I spoke to EB yesterday and Way of the Hunter PS5 comes in at a great resale price. There's definitely a few new titles to JB's 2-for-$30 deal that will work atm, but EB are quick to adjust..

        That completes my pre-orders from this list. Now for the September Direct…

    Someone in another post a week or so ago mentioned Metaphor Refantazio (All versions, even PC surprisingly enough) was viable for $39 also, although when they went in store to do the trade the system wouldn't let them.. 🤔
