  • Code isn't working

Edit: Nvm it works - can only do it with click and collect.

  • Looks flimsy.

I've got one, once it's put together it's pretty sturdy. You have to whack the pieces in to place with a mallet.

Insufficient quantity for C&C. Delivery is $14 per additional unit. Therefore, the real cost is $70 per unit delivered.

  • You're gonna bleeeeeeeed….

  • bunning's selling a similar sized shelf for cheaper and it's their usual price…

    • This Stratco one is all metal. That Bunnings one has thin, untreated MDF shelves.

      • I am happy with these. You can use a mallet, but if you don't have one, like me, just use a hammer or a screwdriver and tape some scrunched paper or tissues around the end.
I bought a couple of these Stratco ones for my storage cage, because they have steel, wired shelving. Also, they are just under 1m each, which allowed them to fit snuggly side-by-side. There is a more expensive Bunnings unit that is an awkward size, like 1.6m, that wasn't an efficient use of space, but otherwise looked good.

        • @kingxeratul do you have the link to the Bunnings 1.6m one?

      • The MDF breaks down in time if you have the shelves anywhere with high humidity. Steel shelves are much more durable for use in garden sheds and similar.

    • Metal shelves is worth the extra few dollars IMO. MDF sags like crazy with any weight in 'normal' garage conditions. Plus these look to have a middle brace on each shelf which I'm pretty sure the Montgomery don't.

Unfortunately unavailable at my local stratco though…

  • Ordered, thanks OP .. Been looking for some shelving with steel shelves for my Garden shed..
mdf shelves are no good for my use case as the MDF breaks down due to the higher humidity in the shed , otherwise I would have purchased the ones from bunnings

    • @Rob-4x4, can't you just paint or seal the mdf?

  • I presume these are not rust-proof? I can't see anywhere in the description. Hoping to use it for a greenhouse.

  • Not much stock near me but thanks for letting us know
