This.
why?
TCL c845 is miniLED vs FALD
Also I think TCL might be cheaper in the same screen sizeaproximately sold for lowest price of $1300 vs $1900
Because the implementation of older tech by Sony is better than a subpar (still in teething stage) implementation by TCL of new technology.
In theory yes miniLED should be better than FALD but reality doesnt always much theory.
Lowest price for this Sony is $1496. It will happen again if you have patience.
@Buy2Much: that's a lot better price than this deal but still $200 more expensive than TCL
and last time it was that price was in 12/12/2023meanwhile $13xx seems to be a regular sale price of the TCL 845
For $1400 the 65" TCL c8 is pretty good and if price is a factor then for that price range its hard to beat. Depends on peoples budget and desired quality/format support etc
Would also recommend the TCL.
Just took delivery of a Sony X90J, the image does not compare at all to my 845.
Also quality wise, Sony tv came with a bug inside the screen, called an "insect infestation" by the Sony support team. So sounds like a very common issue found with the Sony's. Still awaiting a resolution on it.
Ahhh, you shoulda bought the one with the optional bug zapper inbuilt
This is a highly rated TV and pretty much as good as it gets without getting into expensive OLED territory. Was considering this before I managed to score a Samsung S90C for $1570 on a recent deal.
You can get the box damaged 75" for a bit less.
This or tcl c845?
