  • Is this a good soap to use before applying hybrid solutions graphene flex wax or the hybrid solutions ceramic spray wax?

Edit: Answered my own question, ordered one.

    • Don't use ceramics or graphene but reviews mention people using it with ceramic coatings and sprays and TW claims:
      - pH neutral surfectants – breaks down road grime and traffic film with ease, has an awesome scent, and is extremely easy to rinse
      - Incredible lubrication – doubles as a synthetic clay lubricant in the mechanical decontamination process
      - Versatile – bucket wash or foam sprayer, wash or clay lube, Hybrid Solutions Pro Pure Wash is a must in every detailer's arsenal who want the best
      - Uniquely formulated to offer incredible foam and amazing cleaning ability without breaking down waxes, sealants, and professional coatings.

One video reviewer mentioned that after use there was some minor diminution of water shedding. Probably depends on how dirty panels are, how long between waxes, etc.

Dude. Do yourself a favour and get Turtle wax hybrid solutions slick n slide pure wash (I know it's a mouthful). When it's on special at Supercheap for $28-30, it's the best value shampoo. Smells great, highly concentrated so you save product and foams really well in the bucket or foam canon. You can also use it as a clay lube to decontaminate your car before using this turtle way ceramic spray. It'll make the ceramic spray last longer. So if you get a clay mit and use the pure wash to rub down the car, then apply 2 coats of the ceramic spray, you'll get 6-12 months of good protection.

But personally, I just do a normal contact wash with the turtle wax pure wash, then apply Gyeon Wet Coat with an easy spray and rinse. Takes less than 10 mins to spray and wash down the whole car with the Gyeon Wet Coat. Reapply Wet Coat every 3/4 months and your laughing. Easiest way to ceramic coat the car.

  • Can this be used in a snow cannon? Or did it have to be specific snow cannon solution?

          • @BaryGusey: awesome thank you

            • @bboz: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wVL8elalduQ

There's a demo I just watched to find out the answer to exactly the same question while I try and decide if I want to grab some.

              • @BaryGusey: Plenty of demos on youtube.

Not sure what bboz was asking. All snow cannons work on the same principle although some might be marginally more effective. Some washes foam better than others, some aren't formulated for snow cannon application at all. Snow cannon washes can be used in a bucket obviously.

              • @BaryGusey: Definitely works in a snow cannon

  • There are soooooo many products now… im utterly lost.

    • Don't get carried away by many different products unless you are car detailing enthusiast. Most importantly learn what the basic things that you require and stick with those only. Some products will do 2-3 things at once, so you can skip other products doing the same thing.

  • How often does this go on sale? Sux I missed it

Store called and said they don’t have stock and replaced it with Bowden’s Nanolicious

    • This?

Similar product, but a big win on price.

      • Yup. Haven’t collected it yet but that’s what the staff said.
But not really on the price. Other stores have the turtle wax one at
        $109.99 and $87.20 discounted.

        • Yes I saw some of those prices. You'd have to be nuts to pay anything like that for <2l of car wash.
