We have had a ton of people ask us whether we would be getting more of these machines in after we sold out last time. We have some good news we have finally been able to secure some more stock. Even better we have dropped the price! Very limited stock though!
We expect this last shipment to arrive before the 30th but we are just hedging our bets as there have been a lot of delays recently due to the amount of windows 8 stock that has been pushed back to the end of the month. If the stock arrives sooner we will start shipping immediately.
UPDATE: Price drop on the np900x3c-a01 as well: http://flingshot.com.au/products/samsung-np900x3c-a01
This time we are going to play a slightly different game. Somewhere on our site we have hidden a link, find it and post the code on the page it links to and we will give you a $50 voucher for anything on the site. One winner only first in best dressed.
Winner from the previous deal the Netgear comp was wtfnodeal, PM us for your voucher code.
I bought Kingston ram from MSY for $42.
Firstly kill the battery power to the board by removing AC adapter and using a paperclip to push a little hole at the bottom (You'll know when you do this correctly as the unit won't power on again without the AC adapter.
Remove one screw and prise off the cover which is held in with clips. Push in ram module at an angle then in and level it off. Then pull the side clips out and up and over the ram sides so it stays put. It was a bit fiddly so just try different things until you get it to stay.
Don't remove that silver coloured sticker, it improves the wifi signal.
Put back together, plug in AC adapter and turn on.
There is definitely an improvement. Whether I could have made do with 8GB total is irrelevant for such small cost.
