140

Seems like an above average offer for this deal.

$69 per month with 200gb of Mobile Boadband data for any new signups for 24 months.

$700 goes a long way in offsetting the cost of the plan.

Hope this helps someone who’s looking for something like this.

  • I am waiting for Telstra-Hi-Fi's next 1 day only offers. Only those offers are actually worth it.

    • Reckon they'll be another $1000 one before the EOFY? Keen to grab an iPhone 15 Pro at the best discount possible

  • +1

is anyone seriously committing to $69 a month contract for 2 yrs… in 2024????

i think monthly contracts are disappearing right? right???

unless you are amortising a $0 upfront S22 or some shit…

    • I did, my plan was finished at end of May this year

    • +2

I signed up to a $89 per month 300g pm contract (24 months) about 12 momths ago and it came with $1400 worth of gift cards. i use it as a hotspot at home, but they figured this out and throttled the speed like crazy, using a free VPN on ozb to mask that im hotspotting and im back in business

      • This is a mobile broadband and what is wrong with using it as a hotspots at home?

Does it come with a portable modem and you can carry it anywhere? How is the speed like? Enough for YouTube?

        • Telstra doesn't want you to, as they make more money pushing 'mobile data only sim cards'

Its funny, tech support said it is odd my 5g speeds are so low but nothing technically wrong, the second i put a vpn on, bam the speed was back

Turns out data throttling is a thing in the US and Telstra has to copy

      • Similar in my case, mine was 69/month, 300g , can't remember the gc, but definately not over 1k, I live alone so I used as hotspot all the time, i don't do games/neflex etc, works fine to me, just occasionally will be slow or drop the signal. However, since plan is finished, and now I am using nbn

      • Mine is sim card can phone, text people also. Not sure we have the same thing? This deal, mobile broadband is different? Can't insert into the mobile phone ?

        • Still a sim card with data at the end of the day

      • Which free vpn?

        • Pure VPN, got like 120% back, check on here for the recent deal

      • Big question !!! Now I have Telstra 5G Home Internet Plan.
Can I buy this SIM PLAN and insert the SIM into my Telstra 5G router? and set up for home internet connection??
If I can, I probably buy this SIM PLAN and cancel the current 5G Home Internet plan.

        • Considering Telstra are a bad company, i suggest they would most likely block it

  • I think the good guys has a similar deal on as well

    • JB and TGG are the same company … if one doesn't have an offer and you show them JB have … boom they replicate it 99.99% of the time.

  • This deal or wait for some other promo for a free phone over 24 months?

I've seen some promos in the past of Z flip 4s, S22s, Pixels, etc. and wondering if it's worth waiting although these free phone promos are pretty rare these days.

  • Anybody asked the monster if they price match?
They did that once with a cashback on a 6 Month lock. Better than OW.

Got the 400Gb/month for $69 for 12 months with a $350 GC 2 years ago. Fixed price for as long as I keep it. Over 600Mb/s download, 50Mb/s upload. JB plans going backwards

  • How is the reception for this one? Can we use it in remote area like in the mine site?

  • Big question !!! Now I have Telstra 5G Home Internet Plan.
Can I buy this SIM PLAN and insert the SIM into my Telstra 5G router? and set up for home internet connection??
If I can, I probably buy this SIM PLAN and cancel the current 5G Home Internet plan.
