Hey Guys,

Just went in the PlayStation app and can see I have 25% off the essential tier.

It shows $71.96 (instead of $95.95) when setting auto renewal.

As soon as I purchased it, it gave me the option to immediately cancel the auto renewal… which I did (coz I’m forgetful haha)

Once cancelled, checked to see if the offer was still there - and it allows me to purchase the essential tier again and again! Hope someone can make some use out of it. I bought 2 years worth.

Note - I am an existing PS essential user. (It was ending in a week or so)

    I got a year of the base PS+ to play Helldivers 2 online. Now that the game is feeling stale I wish I just bought a few months worth.

      Helldivers 2 is anything but stale (personal opinion). The recent patch added a lot of buffs to guns, there's a new Warbond, the last 2 major orders were the most fun I've had, 100k+ Helldivers active at a time. It's great! If you haven't played in a while, jump back in.

  I upgraded to Deluxe at a discount a couple of years ago. If I change to Essential it wants to charge me $99.95 when my current Deluxe sub runs out.

  Deluxe is almost $200, which is crazy. I've cancelled the plan for now and it'll expire next June. Hopefully there will be discounts on Essential then and I'll resubscribe.

  Even Essential is expensive now, I used to pay $40 during the sale periods, now $71 is considered a deal?

    Yeaa used to be dirt cheap but $72 bucks for around 36 games a year ain’t too bad IMO (only really need to get 2 games to make it worth it)

    And deluxe is crazy expensive. Already paid $216 for 3 years for essential and now it’s offering me to upgrade to deluxe for only $255 more… not worth it in my eyes

      I used to justify it by thinking like that, but now I'm 10 years down the track and have amassed 100s of games only to realise that the value is not there simply because we don't own the games.

      It's a licence to play and nothing more.

    Yeah my Deluxe expired and I refuse to pay $200 to renew it.

    Hopefully a good discount is around the corner

  Does anyone know where to purchase a discounted 12 month PlayStation Plus pass for the US?

  This has to be a targeted offer because your subscription was expiring in a few weeks, appears no one else has this offer

  Unavailable for purchase. Just because my Deluxe Subscription hasn't expired until later this year. So disappointing over no more stack for current subscribers anymore.
