The usb port on these have a tiny receptacle - not all usb-c charging cables can be used

  • How do users get away with not having Function keys!?

    • +1

By using numbers in conjunction with the function key. I don't miss them thaat much however ultimately I still wish I'd got a keyboard that has this short width but still has the Function keys

It's honestly not that bad. I only miss dedicated Fn keys in some games like Minecraft and GTA RP; otherwise I don't miss them at all.

Must have taken some adaptation I'd imagine?
I'd miss Refresh (F5), Rename (F2), and Full Screen (F11) on the daily!

        • +1

Ctrl R does a refresh too. The others are for files but some people just game, small keyboards give more mouse space ala CS GO pros.

        • Yeah I guess just depends on your use case, right? I don’t really use any of those functions much so it’s all good. Pressing Fn key to use those functions is alright.

        • Just to be clear, it does have function keys, as mentioned below you just have to hold down the Fn key and use one of the number keys with the Function printed on the side to get to them. It sounds like you think the Function functionality (pardon the pun) is completely gone? Or I misunderstood you?

          • @metastable: I guessed that it's remapped to a function key. Thanks for advice. I think it would be annoying to me as I live and work in the browser and F5 and F11 is used pretty often. I am happy with my 75% then.

  • I noticed this one is on sale at Umart, any one have an opinion on these ?

Pro's are it has more useful keys, including the function keys and it has more multi-media buttons and macro buttons too

    • Red Dragon is like the Kogan of mechanical keyboard world. At that kind of price you can order better keyboards from AliExpress. Check out Ajazz, Hex Gears.

    From an enthusiast perspective,

    Pros:
    - It's cheap for a compact wireless mech with knob
    - Includes wrist rest
    - ARRGEEBEE

    Cons:
    - Stock switches are bad, and they are not hotswap.
    - Stabilizers are rattly
    - Very pingy
    - USB-C port is very narrow and makes using a 3rd party cable difficult
    - Keycaps are thin and cheap feeling

    • Thx for your review, almost grep one for son, can save $$$ for something else! No wonder it is this cheap
