  • This vs LG UltraGear 32GP850?
Only a bit more for gb850

Or vs dell similar priced range?

  • I got the 850 for my son, it has the IPS panel rather than VA. Paid over $500 for it recently, and it is not showing for me as discounted by LG at the moment but JB Hi Fi have it for $524, so still a fair bit more than the 650 with VA on the LG site.

    • Thoughts on the monitor?

      • Yeah, he is happy with the choice, it was a big upgrade from a smaller VA panel with much lower refresh rate. He uses it for Xbox series X gaming and streaming TV, so doesn't get the full benefit of the 165hz. There seemed to be only a few options around that price point for 32 inch, 1440 resolution and refresh rate at 120hz or higher. I'd have looked at Dell but they weren't discounting at the time.

        • Thanks!
Reviews talk about bad contrast and colours but sounds like it's only for those nitpicking

  • Which one is better? This one or the Samsung G5? Specs looks almost the same. However the G5 only has 144hz screen with peak brightness of 1499nits when HDR is on.

    • I’d go the LG my dude

  • +1

Thanks OP - can finally get a dual monitor that matches
