Use the Reminder function, just under the deal date on this page.
Sorry thats what I meant by timer. Just saying.
I don’t get why deals don’t just go back into the feed at the time they are set to go live. That should at least be an option.
Because it would cause everybody to see the same deal twice when the reminder function allows those who only find the deal of interest to choose Reminder.
It could then be abused by those doing OzAdvertise to get 2 posts for every deal posted by doing a Goes Live Monday 9AM.
I think the 'right' way to do it would be checking a box for a delayed start to the deal should cause it not to get posted at all until the set time.
But I feel like in many cases, knowing about it beforehand is really helpful - it allows us to plan ahead for what we're going to buy in the sale, and to avoid buying stuff elsewhere. The reminder system is probably the best solution… As long as the correct start date is given by the OP (Taegukgi - I'm looking at you. EVERY. SINGLE. MONTH.) - IMHO 3 strikes for that should bring down the banhammer.
@Nukkels: Agree, often lengthy (obsessive) pre-purchase research is required, but fear of a deal being quickly oz-bargained leaves no time for that
@Horacio: A free game is a different category though. No research or advance notice needed
@fredblogs: You'd be kicking yourself if you bought the game during a sale 3 days before it became free though.
@Nukkels: Perhaps have a list of upcoming deals, just don't post them in advance. Before you buy a game, check the upcoming deals list.
@Nukkels: A bit delayed, but just like how htey have a section for 'deals expiring soon' they can have a section with 'upcoming deals' perhaps?
Always love it, when I can see a game and build the excitement leading up to being able to claim it.
.
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
I can't believe I have almost 300 games or more on epic and none of them I have paid for lol all free games.
How many have you played?
none lol I play on steam
Thanks, added to the library.
Anyone can point me in the direction of low graphic requirement, casual, or "one more turn" type games to use as short breaks from work/study?
Low graphic requirement is due to laptop with no dedicated graphics card, casual and "one more turn" is for the purpose of keeping sessions short up to 15-20 minutes and still progressing in the gameMoonring its free on steam, came across this little gem
Neon Abyss, Loop Hero and Rogue Legacy have all been free on Epic before and are awesome!
if you claim a free game but never play it, did you really claim a free game?
Doughnut sim?
I know I can set a timer, but still could have been Freshly posted next week. Always love it, when I can see a game and immidiately claim it.
