          @Serpeant: I have the Samsung QN900 series TV which has much better speakers.

          Hut even without that with a lower end TV, q symphony makes a massive difference to how surround works, especially dialogues

  Was tossing up between this or the q990c for $899 - factory second at BuySmarte.
  I don't need the 4k 120Hz passthrough the D has over the C.

  Not the cheapest price - Harvey Norman had it for $1199 with a $100+ gift certificate - but a fantastic sound system. Remember to factor in around $100 for speaker stands if necessary.

    lol, yeah… I have a little bit of buyer’s regret as the Sonos seems to sound better. Might put the soundbar somewhere else.

      Honestly, thinking of returning it. Not much of an upgrade vs default TV speakers, obviously more bass & dialogue is SLIGHTLY clearer.

      I guess it's true that there's no replacement for displacement

  It's gone up to $1399 as of today. Still $1239 at powerland, which TGG will price match (or they did for me just now anyway)
