just fyi both the Sony speakers just like the smaller XE200 and XE300 they all have a very muffled sound like the speaker is under a blanket they do not sound clear at all I heard them all in the store.
some say it's just sony's "warm" tuning but I didn't think it sounded good at all. probably why they don't sell and are on discount.
I previously posted a Epicboom deal for the white one only since it was $20 cheaper than Black at the time but a user seemed to be unhappy about it because it was white.
so I think some people are willing to pay more for the Epicboom in Black? (I personally would get the lower priced one no matter what the colour🤷♀️)
my recommendation is if you can afford it get the Hyperboom.
pass on the Sony XG's they don't sound good. Epicboom sound is also a bit lacking for the spec and always priced very close to Hyperboom.
the extra $50 to get Hyperboom is worth it 10/10. two 4.5inch woofers and they are facing in different directions for a wide spread of sound it's the most versatile and a very good sounding speaker with low latency, is quick to charge and has great battery life.
