    I got it a few weeks ago. Car selection feels poor to me and I struggled with the marked braking zones layout. Feels a lot slower paced than some of the other offerings. I bought an Xbox just to play the Forzas and to be honest I enjoyed them a lot more. This would definitely please the purists though, I have friends who have wheel and pedal set ups and they love it.

      Yeah feedback seems to be if you don't have wheel and pedal, the responsiveness is garbage.

    Got review bombed at release purely because of the credit system.. which is fixed now. 10/10 game, been playing it solidly since launch

      What is the "credit system"?
      Lots of grievances around the pay to play model as well.

        At launch the amount of credit you were rewarded for completing races was small compared to how much the cars cost from the dealerships… However, you were just gifted cars for completing races so really it wasn't a big deal if people just played the game properly… So review bombed.
        However, when Polyphony fixed all that, people didn't give the game a second chance, nor did they update their 1 out of 10 reviews.

        As for the pay to play model. It requires that you have an active PS Plus membership to play. Some people want to play single player components of a game without the need for PS Plus… So, review bombed more.

        The game is now at 'Spec II' and is an extremely well rounded racing game. The ranked racing component 'Sport' is what keeps a lot of people playing the game. The community is extremely competitive and the GT World Series is an incredible competition if you strive to become the best in the nation, or even the world!

    No, it works for everyone, as long as you have an account with EDR linked, it doesn't check if you have extra or not. It has been like that since I can remember.
