Does this come with gaming pants?

    • +1

i was thinking the same thing

    • Gaming Pants sold separately.

who wears pants when they're gaming?

I've had this backpack for a few years. No issues yet. Its well design and comfortable to use. The chest strap is also great for heavier loads to prevent backpain.

Edit: It also has reflectors on the back (in the pattern), which is great for walking around at night (reflects off car headlights).

I paid ~$30 from an Ozb deal

  • How's this a deal? What price is it normally?

    • Everyday price is not bargain

Yep I bought 3 and they are still in use today. Still look new, still reflect of the sunlight and car headlights. Well worth it even at this price. Just don't forget the Achilles heel of this bag, is there is no padding in the bottom. So if you or your child drops the bag on to a hard floor, then you might find you've damaged the laptop inside.

The rain cover is in the bottom of the bag. I'd say that cushions it. If you are paranoid when using the rain cover you could refill the compartment with something

        • +1

Whilst it can cushion a drop it ain't no cushion let's be real. Yes I've padded the bottom with a media of my choice, but it was worth mentioning to new potential owners.

I like em, enough to broden them.

        • I've checked this bag in the store for how well it'd carry a laptop. Sure, there is a raicover at the bottom but it's barely any cushioning, especially for the corners of a laptop which is where breakage is mostly likely.

Didn't end up getting this for a school bag purely for the lack of protection.

Otherwise it seemed a decent bag, unlike the $15 bag which goes on sale regularly.

i think i paid <$20 for this a while ago.

    • That was a plain smaller back.
This gaming bag went as low as $29 at one point and I have not seen that price again.

I bought 2 bags ages ago. They are still going strong. I love the big top section for sunnies and easy access. + Rain cover

Bought this as a previous Ozb deal. Great backpack. The only downside is if you store stuff in the top compartment the bag droops down and doesn't maintain its shape. Apart from that I use it everyday. Was traveling with it and found there is a useful strap on the back that allows you to attach it to the handle of luggage.

    • exactly the same issue that I have.

    • Do you know if that tablet compartment (in front of the laptop sleeve), does that fit a MacBook Air 14inch?
I need to carry 2 laptops and I'm hoping the MacBook Air fits in the smaller sleeve.

I bought the last time in was on OzB and it's literally my favourite daily bag. Love it.

I use this for work as an everyday backpack, I don't have a car and it gets a fair amount of use. Love it. Also the chest strap is long enough for the husky gentleman such as myself, I found some cheap backpacks it was too short.

    ewwww, rainbow reflective,

this price should drop down to $20 soon like the rest of the dell bags.

Have this for almost a year, use it to store my 16" laptop, no complains. The integrated rain cover at its bottom is great for rainy days in Vic, which is most of the year.

Bought this laptop bag avout 3 years ago. The issue was only zipline. Called them and they sent me a free replacement as per 3 years warranty.

  • brought 2 for the boys to go to school with, didnt last the year. the top zip due to its contour, with the top filled will pull the zip of its seams. got them both replaced under warranty then lasted another few months before the same thing happended. all 4 in the bin.

    • Exactly, the fabric is good but the zips are crap.

Bought this for my highschool kid as school bag and it's still great after 1.5years.
No scratch, no issues with zip

i'm not up to speed but with school do you have to buy specific school bags for them? or is it later when they are in high school you can get any bag for them to use?
