Looking for a Decent Stand for a Portable LCD Monitor

I bought a 15.6" portable LCD monitor from Amazon recently, and I'm loving it. However, the folding cover/stand that came with it isn't so great.

Can anyone recommend a better stand (that you've actually used)? It'd be good if it was from Amazon so I can get it fairly quickly.

if you want something like a tripod stand that the asus portable ROG monitors use. you can do it with a workaround by getting a cheap sub $5 3/4 camera tripod stand with telescoping handle. just gotta filter out the millions of smarphone selfie stick listings

then get a tablet holder that connects to the 3/4" camera holder

ive bought this neewer before when i was experimenting with portable monitors
    https://www.amazon.com.au/Neewer-6-3-9-25-Centimeters-Adjust…

the reason why i got that instead of the others such as these 2 below:

    https://www.amazon.com.au/ULANZI-ST-29-Universal-Smartphone-…

    https://www.amazon.com.au/ULANZI-VIJIM-P001-Adjustable-Compa…

is because you can see the bottom two hold tablets in landscape, whereas the neewer holds a ipad picture in portrait. So i could guarantee it was wide enough for a 15" display

check the specifications and width of your tablet for compatibility. u might get away with the 2 smaller tablet holders, but i doubt it as they are 10"

Lastly, if you want a sturdier stand, there are beefier aluminium small camera tripods. but they are not as portable. literally 3-4x bigger. the smaller ones also exist but the catch is the price

    edit found a cheaper one

    note the size in pictures

i personally used like a $5 one off ebay/aliexpress that was half the size because when you add in the size of the monitor its already around eye level then the telscopic feature lets u adjust height whilst being compact for travel. but u have to add delivery time.

  • A work colleague has designed and 3D printed a monitor stand for me. It's a bit large and way over-engineered, but it's closer to what I had in mind originally. Thanks for your ideas, though, @furythree.
