      • Me three

      • Probably they are fizing the 4 for 99. Just wait check back every 2 hrs

    • +1

worked now after I refreshed it. Not sure if it was that or because I changed a shoe here or there..

    • Still working , I got $0.01 remaining balance on a gift card after the purchase ,where should I spend xD

    • Wasn't working for me either 30mins ago, but okay now after refreshing

    • I found that if you choose different colours of the shoe, then it doesn't get included in the BUY3 discount.

      • Not all colours of each shoe are included in the discount. It's a little tricky

  • +2

Done. Worked fine for me. $99 + shipping.
The payment summary is confusing as hell. Just check it is 114.99 at the end and only select multiples of 3.

If you change colours etc make sure it still has the 3 for $99 banner at the top of the images otherwise you are not selecting right pairs.

    • Yeah have to check the banner as the code won't show any error.

  • +4

The worst payment experience, the code did not apply correctly when purchasing 4 pairs (makes sense, but I thought I got lucky when the subtotal inc shipping ended up being $95), ended up being charged $195… now experiencing a headache in skechers customer support. website sucks

    • +1

As always if sounds too good then probably not good

    • did you get any result?

      • +1

a huge stuff around, so they immediately dispatched 2 pairs of the 4, refunded $118 (??) and the other 2 pairs got cancelled (intercepted by the stores and not shipped)…… makes no sense. They said that they would intercept all 4 pairs and refund me the whole amount, now i've paid like roughly $40 a pair, and it was a complete luck of the draw which 2 pairs i received. Not sure where to go from here honestly. I could refund at store, or fight it for a refund, or just keep them and be done with the headache. I paid paypal which sounds like another Ozbargainer below got screwed around by as well, so maybe there's a chargeback option?

        • Same boat but you're lucky some got intercepted. Such a pain. I feel like it's a scam because they're hoping we don't bother returning or noticing.

  • Thanks OP! Got some click and collect

  • +1

i stacked with a $40 insider paid 160 for 6 pairs omg free express shipping

    • Curious also with the $40 insider

      • I returned something a month ago and majority of it was refunded as a insider that I used for the pervious order

        • Oo…. a credit balance

    • What

  • +1

TIP - add $30 of product to cart for free shipping (Save $15). Just make sure it isn't part of the 3 for 99 promo. Comes out to $15 for an extra pair of shoes, hoodie or pants

Plenty of other products on sale: https://www.skechers.com.au/shop/sale

    • so we add any other shoes that is not part of the 99 promo deal then they won't overcharged like others have said here?

      • Exactly, as long as it has something like 'SAVE 75%' instead of '3 for $99.99' in the photo. But for shoes there are mostly sandals, kids shoes and women's heels under $30 to get the free shipping. Plenty of clothing though.

I added on a pair of sandals and shorts.

  • +9

Total scam. Beware. Ordered 9 pairs. Total was showing $260 and charged $460. Even have their checkout page showing $260. Paypal was also showing $260 but deducted $460. Time for Paypal dispute. This is pure cheating.

    • Damn. I am about to place an order for 12 pairs. Now I’m not sure if I want to proceed…

      • -1

I also purchased 4 items, 3 from the $99 sale, the fourth not part of the $99 promo, paid with Afterpay, no issue. Total is correct, free shipping as total is over $150. The question is when I need to return 1 or 2 pairs, I wonder how they will distribute the funds back….

        • Of course they will. Probably 3for99 wil be void and you pay full price. Otherwise everyone here will order 3 and return 2. The promo is clear 3for99 not 1 for 33

          • @CyberMurning: I can't say for the 4 pairs but it looks like it's supposed to be valid for 9 pairs.
After code is applied: "Promotion 3 for $99.99 - Only Valid for sets of 3,6,9 or 12 Outlet Styles"

  • Thanks OP. No issues here. Just kept to the 3 for $99 page, only ordered from what was available size / colour wise.

Paid $135 for 3x pairs of shoes, 1x pair of pants & 1x pair of shorts. Free express shipping. Cracking good deal.

    • would adding any other footwear (not 99 promo) also work for free shipping?

don't want to get overcharged like others here.

      • Sounds like, going off this thread, adding any other footwear away from the 3 for $99 deal only creates problems with incorrect charges.

  • +1

Selected 3 footwear in the promo, applied coupon and didn't get it down to $99 :/

    • +1

Said many times. Dont change colours

  • +1

Im also one of the plebs that charged 100 extra for adding 4 pairs of shoes. Have raised a case with Paypal. Lets see how we go

    • Please make sure to comment here the resolution, I have proof of the same happening to me, so may raise a case as well.

      • +1

So far nothing from Paypal. I took screenshots of their platform as well saying i was only going to be charged x and the bank statement showing x+100.
        Will post here.

  • +2

    They charged me extra $100.

Showed $99.99 at checkout even at PayPal check out then when I checked the email and my bank card I was charged $199.99. I sent dispute to PayPal but not sure if I get back the differences. If they would show the actual amount it was ok. but it is misinformation case where you have been charged extra after Pay for a fixed price.

    Shame on them

    • +1

They told me this is what I have paid $24.39+99.99+41.46+34.14

Once the order has been delivered to you you can either return it to us via post for a refund or in-store for a refund. you can return either all or just 1 item at the store for a refund.

So I will bring back the one ($99.99) to get the refund then.

      • +1

did they explain why this occurred?

was the 4th pair not part of the $99 deal?

        • +1

they just said "I'm sorry for the confusion caused by the website". the 4th pair was the one ($99.99). so they told me if I bring that pair back to store they will refund it.

          • @shahrah: do you have the link for that 4th pair you bought that was $99.99?

              • @shahrah: thanks

okay I see why it might have charge you $99.99
cos it had the promo label on it (3 FOR $99.99) which means 4 pairs with the same promo (3 FOR $99.99)

                • +2

@pinkybrain: Not sure how but as i mentioned the total price was showing for total order $99.98 but after I paid it changed it to $199.98 which is wrong. Sytem problem or what I don’t have any idea.

                  • @shahrah: I had the exact same problem, the cart and subtotal were all $79.99, then paypal showed the exact same 79.99, then once paid, it charged me $194 and got a confirmation from paypal of that higher number.

                    • @GenghisGun: You can bring back that item which was cost at normal price.

  • +3

Ordered 9 pairs. Cart said 299$, paid, then $499 charged. Wtf is this? I'm going to give them a chance to reply my email tomorrow, otherwise I'm gonna call my bank and report fraud.

    • Same boat. Any luck? Can we have these crooks black listed on ozbargain or something

  • +6

Two pairs of shoes i had in my cart that were previously listed as 3 for $99.99 have been changed to % discount today making the code useless. This has been happening gradually over the past hours i noticed several shoes that were eligible have been removed from the 3 for $99.99 deal.
Very frustrating wasted my time browsing when i was certain i had 3 pairs that were eligible with the code added it said $299 literally within minutes one of the shoes was removed from the deal. I don't think I'll ever use their website again. Hugely disappointing and very dishonest selling practices.

  • +1

Most of the men shoes are $69-$79 RRP range down to $33 per shoes which are 50%-60% off in percentage. The good is plenty of options to choose from for this price range.

  • Great deal, ordered the 3 pairs!

  • -1

anyone have concern about the quality and durability of these shoes?

Aside from the poor reviews to do with site overcharging or bad customer service or being sent worn shoes
there are quite a lot of poor quality reviews

    https://www.productreview.com.au/listings/skechers

    examples
-Soles fall off. Poor quality. I bought multiple pairs of these and they have all FAILED with all falling apart. Their soles fall off and need re glueing.
    Quality is just crap.

-Sole comes off x two pairs now

-Poor quality been week and the form inside is coming off. Price not worth the shoe quality and not comfortable for long hours.

-work shoesbough a pair of work boot from your macquarie store in august last year had to replaced in november due rapid wear now same pair of shoes have done the same thing and now will note replace or refund very poor never buying again

-Super comfortable but super crapI love the way that Skechers feel, but they are the least durable shoes of all time and I am never buying any more after multiple purchases over the years all with the same results. Show details

    etc

  • Thanks OP for this! Went straight to the DFO outlet and they have what I wanted too!

    • 3 pairs for $99 in DFO?

  • Has anyone's order been dispatched yet?

    • Yes, all my orders were split across two deliveries and mailed from different locations
A pair of shoes was sent from Perth to Melb and two pairs already delivered.
Another two pairs still processing… Guess orders are being handled / processed / shipped out by individual stores across the country based on stock availability sizing lol

      • Which day did you order? I ordered on Sunday night but haven't heard anything. Says processing as of 10 june

        • +1

          Monday early morning,
I still have two pairs processing :)

    • Ordered 3 pairs 2 days ago, got an email today that one pair is dispatched. No clue when the others will be dispatched?

      • Soon

        • Waited an hour on their live chat and not a single response at 4pm on a weekday. What a joke…i even asked how's lunch break…no response…rude!

          • @deskii: Relax man you forget we are in Australia everything running slow here. Thry must have thousands to pack i am happy to get mine in 10 days

  • +3

Got an email saying one of the BUY3 shoes was out of stock, got a $30 refund processing on my card now :(
… plus a useless 20% coupon for skechers. I don't want 20% off, I want the 3 for $99 that I ordered. Single pairs of shoes, less 20%, plus shipping is no deal.

    • +1

that is an awful result, sorry that happened to you. sounds like you, myself and a bunch of others got a raw deal from this deal. I assumed skechers was a reputable online seller… wrong

    • This happened to me too but only got refunded $29 because it was based on the shoes rrp.
Being told that they cant wait to send me missing item because they dont know if it'll be back in stock is a poor excuse and trying to upsell me on the 20% full priced item.

  • Got my 6 pairs across 4 deliveries.

  • Ordere 6 pairs to avoid shipping, paid $199.98 with afterpay and being charged exactly $199.98, all 6 pairs arrived in 2 nicely packed batches and in perfect brand new conditions. Very happy with the purchase. Obviously when you apply the code you bring a free shipping $130 purchase down to $99 so the $15 is expected. The detail was clear about buying 3,6,9,12 pairs for that discount. Buying any other amount would expect to pay listing price. It’s like Coles does 2 for $x, you buy 3 then you know what to expect.

Generally happy with the experience. Thanks OP for the post.

    • "Buy 3 for X$" promos at Coles, Myer, Woolies and David Jones are different. The 4th and the 5th item is always discounted as well. Which is the reason many people are having issues. But the kicker is that the website did not just charge the full price ($79.99) for the extra shoe, it proceeded to charge $99.99 PER extra shoe. With no notice at checkout. Clearly a bug of sorts.

    • +1

Agree with erd. You and the other posters defending Sketchers are missing the point.

My experience initially started out fine. Added 3 items to cart, $99, fine. Plus $15 shipping given under the $130 threshold, fine.

After adding 3 items, the banner showed up advertising adding further $31 to cart to qualify for free shipping. If you attempted to follow through with this (eg. in my case I added a couple pairs of socks), this is what happened:

      1) Initially unable to check out at all, due to some error code showing up when selecting a shipping option.
      2) Subsequently able to proceed with checkout, with free shipping enabled, however the total adding up to an incorrect $104.77 (instead of the ~$140 it should have been).
      3) After completing checkout, I found out that Sketchers had instead attempted to charge more than the invoice screen. Not $104.77, not ~$140, but $204.76 in my case.

Thankfully I was wary this would happen and I set a limit of $140 on my card before I attempted the payment, which was thankfully blocked. As you can see, some people were overcharged the full amount, eg on paypal.

Lastly, Sketchers live chat refused to acknowledge or assist in correcting the error. See multiple comments about rude replies above.

Hope this helps clarify why people are disgruntled @33725

    • +1

All I am saying is that I have great experience with my purchase. Reading a lot of negative comments, most are seemingly and knowingly the checkout prices are incorrectly lowered than real and taking the risk/advantage to check out anyway. I do take back on Coles not being a good example.

      • Yeah, I like the shoes too. In my case, I went onto the website for the two shoes I planned to buy (neither of them part of the promo) added them to cart, then saw the promo, added a whole bunch of shoes from the sale for the family (like a shortlist), removed the promo ones I wasn’t sure of at the checkout, checked the total, thought “sweet, 4th pair must be discounted too” and paid. Then behold, credit card got charged an extra $100 (although I reckon due to shonky dev or testing work), which is really not cool.

  • +2

In my experience with Coles, if you buy 2 for $x, buying 3 and more gives you the same pricing. Buying 2 is needed to unlock the lower price

  • -2

Ordered 6 pairs. Arrived in 3 different deliveries. 2 of the pairs were not that great of a shoe, so returned them in store today. Got refunded the discounted amount as expected. Overall great deal though.

  • +1

Any luck for anyone on the Paypal disputes? Like here if you disputed and comment if you had a result.

    • +1

I have the same ugly problem with Skechers, they refused even to look at the screen shot when I placed the order (they overcharged me $100 more to the amount displayed on the order when I paid), and they just keep bullshitting and manually calculate the price which is so so ridiculous…. eventually they only refund $15 shipping fee since my order even though is over 130, but they still charge $15 shipping. At the end, they said I can return all the shoes, that is they called the solution, no any apologies or admitted there are shit issues in your side.

    • +1

Paypal side with the seller even though I have provided the screen shot of my order which was $100 less than what I was actually charged. I am extremely disappointed with these scammers. Will never buy anything from them even it is free.

    • +3

PayPal ruled in my favor. I took screenshots of the price displayed

      • OMG can you send me evidence of them ruling in your favour via DM?
They ruled against me but wanna fight it.
Did they refund the difference? e.g. 100-115

    • +1

Not sure who downvoted me for expressing my experience. Anyway I have escalated with the original screen shots of my order and finally paypal ruled in my favor and refunded the disputed amount.

      • +3

Me too, I upvoted to counteract the Sketchers PR agent who downvoted you.

        • +1

Thank you. Please appeal the decision with paypal if you have captured order screen shot. I also asked them to look at the initial amount that I approved.

      • That's great news!

      • +2

Luckily you paid by Paypal, I should do the same :( . I paid by Credit Card directly and never ever thought about for Skechers such big retailer will happen such ugly issue and refuse to do anything. Such a disgusting experience, and will never buy anything from them again.

        • +1

You should neg this and their new deals.

          • @cheaptech20: I have done the 1 star review (if i can put 0…), but I can't find my review anywhere on their website, it is filtered by them or what…? I do see people did the neg review on ProductReview website.

  • Does anyone know which authority to complain further? ACCC, Fair Trading….?

    • -1

I second that!! I want to know too. Honestly this is the sort of thing A Current Affair exists for

      • +3

I've reported them to both ACCC and Fair Trading.

      • +1

I will do the same: report them to both ACCC and Fair Trading, not because the wrong amount they charged, it is more about their cheating and disgusting behavior, no responsivity, etc

  • +1

I escalated the issue again in Skechers, the reply is: Skechers is refusing to do anything, they are happy for us to report the issue via the Office of Fair Trading in our state or territory.
