Wouldn't this be in the Home category, and so only 6.9% cashback?

    • Hmm you may be right.. im actualltly not certain. Maybe someone here can verify.

At $350 or slightly less, still a fantastic price

about 70% off rrp of $999.95

Nobody ever buys this for that price.

Agree frequently on sale at 50% off rrp.. still current sale with shopback would be atleast 65% off.. so still better than usual

My staub is the best. Had the cheapies that chip or lids do not seal. I will have my staub forever. RRP is ludicrous.

  • I agree, don't think anyone will ever buy these at full price, but they're definitely better than the cheap ones. I have a 28cm Staub in the round shape, the coating is the best, even better than Le Creuset in my opinion. I also have a 20cm Le Creuset when I'm cooking a smaller batch. However, after having had both though, I feel the 28cm is too big, it's quite heavy, 20cm is a bit too small, something in between would've been perfect, but cozzie livs, so I haven't bought another one yet. Although this one is oval, the weight might still be similar to the 28cm one.

26cm round Staub is where it’s at. Love mine to bits!

      • How big of a meal can you cook in the 26cm?

I'm thinking beef goulash with 1-1.2kg of beef + other ingredients as it's purpose.

I do a whole 1.5-1.7kg chicken in mine. I reckon it’d be tight but doable. It’ll get you by 99% of the time

  • Coming up as $499 for me.

  • There are deals on Amazon at the moment. Very good.

  • As a cooking noob, what do you use this for? How is this any better than grandma's orange pot from the 70s?

    • It’s not coated in lead haha. But in all seriousness, the coating could be harmful if it’s flaking/peeling. Newer ones retain heat better, heat more evenly, have more non-stick enamel coating and will last decades if taken care of. The French know what they’re doing when it comes to cookware
