  • definite plus for TCB lately… definite neg though for BWS for introducing 'appy deals' to erode any cashback value on many popular lines…maybe @tightarse can go in to bat for us on this?

      it's no different to the accommodation sites like Agoda, Booking,etc their 10% Cashback affiliate pricing is often 10-20% more the ln their app pricing.

        i see it as another avenue for price gouging from another arm of Colesworths.

        Accommodaiton sector is not dealing in everyday/grocery items and not so closely linked to cost of living considerations

        they also want to encourage the app on your phone to mine personal data, and send push notificatons etc to get more booze down your throat.

    I’ve made a purchase 2 months ago and still hasn’t tracked. No reply from customer service

    • Hi. Apart from the initial auto-response when you lodged the claim, no further update is provided until we hear back from the merchant. Once we do, and provided the claim was attributed to TCB and the terms followed, the transaction will be added to your account as payable.         Technically, the deals won't end at midnight, but half an hour before closing time of your local BWS

      • …ask me how I know….missed out on some clearance slabs at my local … + the 37+10% bonus cashback at Shopback…. $10 slabs that got away..

        **Also note - BWS stock levels for delivery are woeful…B. asically W. ithout S. tock

    Going to be hard for TCB with 22% off deals, when competing with SB and the bank bonuses….

  • Doordash has 30% off over $40 spend at bws with code bws30 up to $20 off. Haven't checked if it works out cheaper but may be helpful

    • Door dash is significantly more expensive and not the full range.

    Beware…it doesn't guarantee you will get cashback from BWS. Mine got denied by Topcashback because (apparently) BWS didn't track the purchase. Not a happy Jan! But, I couldn't be bothered to argue even though I have the receipt.

    • Hi. Sounds like your purchase didn’t track, so you lodged a claim at which time BWS declined the claim stating attribution was elsewhere. Without knowing how you made the purchase (ie used a code, WOW rewards, 3rd party plugin. BWS app, Adblock etc) it’s impossible for me to comment here why they declined it. If you like, feel free to reach out and I can try to ping Woolies on your behalf. All the best.

        Yep… it didn't track when I was due for $30 cashback..I wonder why??
        I made the purchase via PayPal without using any code or gc. I have stated this to the Topcashback rep at that time. But, the rep said BWS didn't track it. So, no $30 for me 😢

      • This prompted me to check my account. I have an Amazon AU cashback of $22 still "pending" from a purchase made in Nov 2023. I have submitted a support ticket now.

  • Topcash back are the biggest scammers. Don't use them. I opened an account and the Mrs opened an account. After accumulating about $60 of cash back they refused to pay out and try to stall so much, so you wont be bothered trying to claim the credit.
    Hi, I just sent my back details to [email protected] but i get an immediate reply saying this is not monitored ?

    Here is 1 email trail. They wanted to see the original receipts of the BWS goods i bought almost 1 year ago. What is this going to prove?
    I had to send in bank statements and soon as i send it their auto reply said this address is not monitored.
    ** Use CASH REWARDS OR SHOPBACK *** you wont get these problems

      The issue here is two accounts in one household. Do as they ask to prove there is 2 different people in the household….

      • I did,by sending my joint bank account photo last week (which had my purchase on it), but as you can see, "this email address is not monitored" so I didn't get a reply. I contacted customer service too to say this, and they also didn't reply, Hence the post on Ozbargain.

  • This one not tracking for me after 24 hours. Did the same as I usually do (Firefox on PC). I can see the 'click to merchant' in my account but it hasn't tracked. Other times BWS has tracked with TopCashback very quickly but not this time. Haven't picked it up yet so I guess I will have to cancel my order :(

    Anyone else have any issues with this one?

            @aus richie: I referred a family member not in the same household and told them. Never pick up unless it tracks. Took about 16 hours
