          Whats the difference between VA and IPS tech?

            @keepkool: 3 letters

            @keepkool: Broadly speaking: IPS has clear motion and good colours, but bad contrast (you don't get dark blacks for things like night scenes, only a grey). VA has good contrast but blurry motion and inaccurate colour. The colour accuracy only really matters if you're doing design, photography, editing etc type work, because the colours don't necessarily look BAD, just different screen to screen. For most people the motion will be the concern and primarily during fast-paced video games (not a concern for movies/TV because they already have stronger motion blur built in). If you don't play fast games or do colour-sensitive work VA is perfectly good, even preferable. People who do play fast games or do colour-sensitive work prefer IPS.

            There's a bit more to it and situational exceptions etc etc but that's the gist.

  • Is any1 here really using this monitor? How is it for
    Work and stuffs (non-gaming)?

  • Out of stock

  • stock is back, but limited

    • Hey, i notice this monitor spec differs from https://www.centrecom.com.au/acer-nitro-ed343cur-v3-34-uwqhd…. Am I correct the model on sale from Acer is an older version? Key difference is the refresh rate.

      Also the listing from Acer website suggest the package content includes the following which refers to another monitor model.

      1 x CB343CUR H Widescreen LCD Monitor
      1 x HDMI Cable
      1 x Power Cord (Australia)
      1 x USB Type-C Cable
      1 x USB 3.0 Cable

      • one sold in store is a different model, it's 100Hz not 180Hz
