    50-67% off RRP

How much is your normal price for these?

    $99 now - https://tamburlaine.com.au/products/nv-miracle-mile-sweet-re…
    $99 back in March - https://web.archive.org/web/20240313232426/https://tamburlai…

Exactly. With brands no one has heard of, you can make up any price you want, and you have exposed the bulltish.

Well at least I've heard of the region, "Australia", that narrows it down quite a lot. I'm glad they made it super clear how Australian it is, with jockey's riding kangaroos in front of Uluru in the picture, no mistaking this for Austrian wine!

It's also "red", I love that varietal, only grown on one planet in this solar system.

        • This is an export wine made specifically for sweet-preferring markets overseas, hence the admittedly garish design. "Wine of Australia" is because it is not a blend we typically make due to tailoring it to the sweet market and have thus borrowed wines from other regions to tailor the flavour to this market. This is not an uncommon practice in the winemaking industry but not something we do regularly, rest assured. Thanks for pointing that out though. As mentioned this wine is mostly shiraz (94.3% to be specific) along with small amounts of other red varieties making up the rest.

Because these are export wines, they aren't typically listed live on our online store, though we do sell them at the RRP to visitors who request a sweeter red at our cellar doors.

Price comparisons to RRP when you do not normally sell at RRP are classed as deceptive and misleading price comparisons by the ACCC and are against the law.

jv going hard on a thursday night, love it

    • Plus, they make JV very sad…

Wineselector does sell some of the Grass Roots range.

There are other manufacturers who sell export labels on here as well, and they also have RRPs. Just because it's not common here, it doesn't mean the RRP is total BS. I'm not sure if this is the case though, but Tamburlaine is a good brand and I have enjoyed many of their wines (not this range though)

it doesn't mean the RRP is total BS.

Their normal selling price for this wine is the same as prices in this post…

      RRP is irrelevant and misleading…

      • Negative and irrelevant?

A quick navigation shows that it was afterpay day sales. Do you have anything that shows that its a regular price there, or do you only have one reference point during a sale period?

        • -1

shows that it was afterpay day sales

          No, they started after that….

Do you have anything that shows that its not their regular price?

I've already shown you that it is

          • @jv:

            No, they started after that….

I have no idea what you are trying to say. Let me rephrase
Your link (https://web.archive.org/web/20240313232426/https://tamburlai…) was from March 13 2024. That is the only date where wayback has captured the miracle mile.

Also from wayback, it shows that March 13 was the afterpay day sales on the Tamburlaine website, where miracle mile was included (https://web.archive.org/web/20240313232329/https://tamburlai…)

Do you have anything that shows that its not their regular price?

You are the one making the claim that it's the regular price, while providing 1 reference point that is during a sale period.

If you bothered to even look at your own sources, you would see this.

              @PCHammond:

You are the one making the claim that it's the regular price

Yes, very unlikely to have exactly the same price only on those two dates.

Very likely it is the normal price…

Speaking from 4+ years more experience than you…

Also, 89% of people agreeing with my first comment, only you gave it a -ve…

              • @jv: Reckon you’ve been bitter for a lot longer than four years…

99 lemons out of 99 agree!

                • @UncleRico:

                  you’ve been bitter

                  some say sweet…

So you have nothing and are now playing the person instead of the ball? Nice. Not man enough to admit when you are wrong.
