    Good price, matching Coles.

  • The cheapest price it's been in years (not including the clearance from BigW).

    • Agreed, I used to stock up when Coles was having this discount, but haven't seen this price in Coles for a long time.

      • I believe it's because of the return bottle scheme.

  • thanks

  • Got 2 thanks. $5.34 after container deposit scheme.

just like toilet paper - suppliers and retailers trying to claw back the downturn in sales by going back to (Almost) pre COVID prices

    • Yep I am noticing a change too. Lots of sales on at the moment, free gift cards/loyalty offers and cashback bonuses etc.

  • S&S gone. I guess I'll just use tap water

I can't see how they can even make money at that price, especially with delivery. But oh well, not looking a gift horse in the mouth, ordered.

  • Great price. A few weeks ago though Amazon emailed me telling me that they have removed these from my Subscription because they have stopped offering free shipping (for these and a few other bulky kind of items) to my post code (I am in the outback of NSW). I'm glad I was able to get these for a while. Now I need to work something else out. These are almost $20 a case at the only supermarket where I live.

    Grabbed one. Thanks!

    $7.74 - $5 promo - $2.40 container refund = $0.34 (~1.42c each)

  • Yep, just ordered it

Why do you guys buy this? Why not just buy a metal bottle and save yourself and the env?

Or just refill a plastic bottle …. What's tap water, 1c litre ?

    • old pipes in the rental I am currently in, water is drinkable but not ideal. Once we are in our new house next year will go back to tap water.

      • water filters are very cheap on ebay and easy to hook it up. thats what i did.

        • yeah might look at that. To be honest we don't drink that many. a case will last 2 months easy as coffee/tea etc is all tap water.

          • @gromit: 24 x 600ml = 14.4L
            14.4 / 2 = 7.2 Litres per month for 2 people

            Man you must be thirsty

            • @Brick50: hard to imagine I know and this may completely shock you, but their are a lot of other drinks besides bottles of water.

to put in the car just in case if we need it we dont have to pay $3.50-$5 at the store.

We do the same with metal water bottles.

      • Yep we do the same. Stops the kids from complaining “I’m thirsty”.

Not very good this water. It’s better than Coles water though still full of bad stuff in it
