  I have a Family Q (which I assume is a Q2000?) that I have only ever used the included patio stand with. I'm surprised you can buy them separately - this model can't sit flat on a table or anything. Is there a more portable option that I'm not aware of?

    Actually you can use it. It just doesn't click into place but sits on top fine. I have this set up with my weber q1000 because i saw a q1000 on this patio cart at flowerpower a while back. Let me know if you want a picture
