Got this review from a highly intelligent person on Google. 'When too poor to go mechanic for fix problem with car you can't afford but make you look cool. You now can be mechanic with no 2 year apprentice needed. Fix problem yourself, use this good diagnostic scanner and Youtube and ChatGPT, repair car cheap so you look rich drive nice car'.

RRP shows $253 so essentially $100 off. I am in NSW and 'Standard shipping' was free for me.

Just purchase a Bluetooth em327 obdii from AliExpress for $5, use Torque app for free. 90% the same thing.

    • For this specific model it's probably true. The ~$700 devices can do much more than the phone apps, but most people wouldn't need those features anyway

    • This also has a battery tester but those can also be had for $30 on AliExpress for people that really need that function

You can read the voltage via torque then load test and observe the changes so it has a battery tester - it just needs a bit more effort.

    • Agree, i have fixed my car a few times after googling error codes found by torque pro app. Also have the added advantage of seeing live temp readings from the transmission or wherever there are temperature sensors.

    • Pay ~$5 for Torque Pro and that's most of the other 10%…

Todd at Project Farm just published a comparison video about a week ago - https://youtu.be/UR9RLgfV-qM?si=S-9DbHexHivEhldH
    They seemed cheaper than this.
Waiting for a comparison with more expensive ones.
