    • A new customer is defined by NordVPN, and nothing to do with your TopCashbackAU account. Simply use a new email address at their end, the same TopCashbackAU account as always, and you're good to go.

    • Click/tap through TopCashbackAU, don't click/tap away to other sites looking for codes, don't use any 3rd party plugins, and avoid browsers such as Brave. Best to use the TopCashbackAU mobile app on 4G/5G as this eliminates potential issues with WiFi/router firewalls etc. Tracking for NordVPN is not instantaneous and may take a few hours.

    • All plans (discounted or not, excluding upsold products) are eligible for the increased cashback (2-year, 1-year, monthly). Remove up-sold products such as NordPass & NordLocker as they are ineligible for cashback. So unless you really need or want the extras, best option (IMHO) is to choose one of the Basic plans and not Plus or Complete.

    • A tip from comments in previous posts is to select a country with no GST to save further at checkout as GST is ineligible for cashback. Pay with a card that does not charge overseas transaction fees.

    • And finally remember you have the safety net of NordVPN's 30-day money back guarantee. Should tracking fail or if you’re not happy with the product, I strongly suggest cancelling rather than submitting a claim as you're then in the hands of NordVPN's analytics for attribution.

    Thanks mine is due in a few weeks. I just tried and looks like they don't accept the Revolut temp/virtual cards anymore so I had to use the physical card.
    Be aware prices are in USD so when you check out the 2yr basic plan amount goes from $91 to $140.

    • You can cancel under the 30 days money back guarantee.

      But if you signup again, will have to be a different email to be considered as a new VPN customer and choose a country with no sales tax

          Because some countries charge a sales tax like most states in USA, UK, Europe and Australia. You don't get cashback on sales tax and it's not included in the final calculation of CB amount.

          So better to choose a state in USA that does not have sales tax.

    I am currently overseas in England and i was charged in British pounds 86.13 gpb which converted to A$165.47 from my oz bank account with 0 foreign transaction fees. But when tracked through it says it was purchased
    at A$138.49 and total earned is $135.72… why has it cut me short about $27? I had chosen Christmas Island for 0 tax.

    • Sorry would it be the case i have for some reason been charged $27 in fees to convert despite my bank card not charging fees? If so, if i cancel the subscription will i get that difference back from nord vpn as per their 30 day money back guarantee???
      I used the vpn to go to the nord vpn site when connected to Sydney server and the same subscription costs $126….. i would be prepared to buy that through the vpn and then cancel my first purchase. I just dont want it to end up not refunding what i believe is some sort of conversion cost… if u can fix up the tracking amount it would solve all my problems though.

      • My receipt does not show any vat or tax.
        It says i purchased nord vpn /nord pass 2 year subscription. Below that it says vat 0%

  • They jacked their prices overnight, 2yr basic plan is now US$100 a year, no longer US$89

    Used the discount code "SIMPLYCODES" to further increase the discount to 68%, bringing the total to $70.92 on a 2-year plan (Chose Alaska, US to get no sales tax) and ended up being charged $108.22 AUD for it.

    Still waiting for the TopCashback tracking to appear in my account, but pretty good deal!

    • Hi. "SIMPLYCODES" is not a TopCashback approved code and belongs to the simplycodes.com publisher which receives sales-based commission via the affiliate space (very similar to HONEY). This may not track to you if NordVPN deems it attributed to that publisher. Please always read terms before purchasing. Thanks.

      What will stop me getting my cashback?

      • Cashback is ineligible on use of any codes not approved and posted by TopCashback.
      • Cashback can only be earned by customers opening a new NordVPN account. Renewals are ineligible for cashback.
      • Cashback is eligible on the VPN service only. Upsold products like NordPass & NordLocker are ineligible for cashback.
      • Cashback is ineligible on use of gift cards as payment and/or purchase of gift cards.
      • dang I just used that code to pay $108 for 2yr basic plan. Two years ago I paid $104 for the 2yr full plan with 95% cashback

          • @wheresmymoney: Thanks. I just logged into TCB and it shows as pending (12 week ETA) so they could still deny it if I used the SIMPLYCODES code . Not sure it's worth the effort to contact them and cancel it.

          • @tightarse: I did the premium subscription for 2 years. I didn't add anything but i see i have nord pass included. Did that cost me extra??? Because i did not add it to the subscription. As per top cashback conditions it says that you cover any subscription ie basic, premium, etc. I note it says that you don't cover extras, but i didn't add it so i would assume nord pass is included in the premium subscription?

                • @claudefrog12345: Please do what I stated in the tips. You’ll need to cancel with Nord for your refund. Suggest you purchase the basic plan. Make sure the second purchase tracks. Good luck.

          Please don't cancel it yet. I'm trying to get a direct answer from the client as to what happens when the code was used and the purchase tracked to TCB. Promo runs until the 9th, so you have plenty of time to cancel and re-buy if necessary. I will let you know here as soon as I hear back :)

    I bought the 2 Yrs plan since Nov last year. Hardly use it as it slows down my Internet speed. Limited choices of Servers, Almost every time got warning that traffic from their IP address is suspicious and i have to click a box to continue.
    Plus, user interface is not that great.

  • Bought the 2 year basic plan for USD$83.43, no VAT with Christmas Island. Used my wise card which converted to $127.31.

    Tracked pretty quickly in 40mins, but only tracked $119.31, with purchase amount showing as $121.75. Not sure what the $5.56 difference is? Not much but just wondering

    • Tried one last time and got through. Ok this customer service was awesome. She tested my issue and confirmed it so she immediately cancel and issue refund. Billing status has changed to processing refund. All good.

    • I've done it once and it was all automated.

      Go to support.nordvpn.com, and in the live chat (bottom right), say something you want a refund. They will give you a link to the Billing page and there's a refund button.
