Youtube is your friend.
No, installation is quite easy same as probably all dashcams, unless you require the hardwire kit installed too.
Also please note that the actual recorded footage presented in this review is quite poor and not a true representation of what is achievable with this dashcam, possibly due to having been edited and the reviewer's claim of it having only been 1080p to begin with. So make sure to check out his additional 4K samples here. https://youtu.be/HvTs6517f94
Any good?
So so image quality, apparently.

I've been putting off installing a cam in my car for far too long
Is viofo still the one to get?Compared to the Azdome? Yes!
Any specific models? Would like a smaller sized model tbh. Was thinking about this: https://www.amazon.com.au/GKU-Included-Recording-G-Sensor-Su…
Yes, I have a few from at least 3-4 years back still going strong.
I was actually pondering the same question the other day re what dashcam to install for my wife's new car; but having owned the Viofo A119 V3 for 3 years on my car I decided to go with the A119 Mini 2 even though there was hardly any sale the other day.
Can't beat Viofo's image quality and stability and the quality is really great - no problems so far. In the long run these kinds of things sort of paid for itself when shit hits the fan (and believe me you when I said it) so I'd highly recommend brands like Viofo or Blackvue.
I have this dashcam good camera for the price but I've set it to 2K resolution instead of 4k plus some people commented saying its not true 4k so i just set it to 2k to make it load faster and its clear enough for me. The rear camera is 1080P, which allows it to decently capture license plate numbers. However, the voice control feature is not great. It often fails to understand the correct terms I use. Nevertheless, I keep it on so that I can try and quickly lock videos if I come across something interesting. The app that comes with the dashcam is poorly designed and requires too many permissions to function properly. So, I only use it when I really need to adjust settings or watch the videos. To have a easy experience, I recommend taking out the memory card from the dashcam and viewing the footage on a desktop or laptop. On a positive note, the dashcam comes with an AZDOME SD card, and luckily, I haven't faced any issues with it so far.
@Digitalco
Does the time/date reset when you turn off your car if not hardwired? I will just be using cig lighter port or usb to power it…My stupid mi dash cam loses the date and time every day as it is not hardwired
Also is it capacitor or lithium battery? My Mindash also fails around 35c >_<
I just use the cigarette lighter port, the date and time won't reset as long as you set it correctly and this dash cam has a capcitor.
thanks
might give it a try if the time doesnt reset everytime you turn off car and a plus if it has capacitor :)
