Also, is there a way to snip the ends of these cables and turn them into female rj45 to connect to the other side of the cable?

Long story short I have a short cat6 run in the house, and I can’t pull the current cable through to replace. And just the transceivers are crazy expensive for some reason and with the cable it’s cheaper. I want to essentially turn these into 10gbpe sfp+ to rj45 transceivers by snipping on both ends and putting female rj45 connectors.

  No, you can't snip it. You need a RJ45 to SFP+ transceiver.

  Yea, $70ea is a bit steep :( but they work well and are also 2.5gbe compatible. I have my AX APs plugged into these running at 2.5gbe.

      They are 10gbe that are backwards compatible with 2.5gbe.
