I got an email saying that the free donuts were out of stock and was provided a refund of 14.99. Not sure whether to be angry or happy :)(
Maybe be happy they didn't do what some might… charge you the $14.99 and send your $2 chocolate bar (that you could buy elsewhere for $1).

nah, i paid the delivery fee. Bought a 250ml coke and the donuts and total was $9.98

Seems like you have to order $30 worth of stuff excluding the doughnuts to reach the free delivery, definitely better to just get a small item and paying delivery than buying $30 worth of over priced food
Not negging OP but just raising awareness here. Wild story with Menulog and 7-Eleven. Ordered the thing, got delivered, and found that only the chocolate came in a stapled paper bag. Contacted Menulog for an explanation or a refund, they refused to refund even the $7 service + delivery fee.
Did you ever get it back? PayPal dispute/credit card chargeback?
I've tried PayPal too, says 'We're sorry, you can't file a case on this type of transaction."
