  • Not showing as Prime free delivery for me (metro).

    $7.99 delivery.

    • Are you signed in? Try logging out and back in? Deffo free for me.

      • Weird, if I change to home address it's free delivered tomorrow, but using a parcel locker changes to 'Priority' delivery and costs $7.99.

    • Yea, one of the best for the price.
      Thanks for the review link.
I've seen it highly recommended on many websites.

Thank you. I ordered some. I was looking for something like this for use with motorcycle navigation, so really need anc. At this price I'm prepared to gamble.

    Free delivery for me.

    • Nice!
I struggle with any thing staying in my ears when I go to put the helmet on.
How do you manage to do this?

      • Unknown - that's the gamble. I use ear plugs now with success, but I imagine these earbuds will be bigger. My partner has shown an interest in the earbuds too; so they should get used if not successful under a helmet.

Re the ear plugs; you might be disgusted, but I find they go in and seal better if I lick them first. I use the silicone el cheapo ones - similar to these https://www.bunnings.com.au/citeco-class-4-pu-corded-ear-plu…

          They look super fancy.

After trying all sorts, I've finally settled on a cardo freecom and the ordinary foamy ear plugs. I change them when they get dirty. If I ride everyday, maybe every week. But recently, it lasts a month plus. They're cheap too
When I finish my current batch, I'll try your link.

The foam plugs cut out the harsh sounds and I can still hear the cardo.

          • @lordra: mine aren't fancy. I have a bowl full of them. I did get them much cheaper in bulk; I keep using mine till I lose one of them, then replace that one. Probably 2 or 3 times a year that happens.

I tried the foamy ear plugs for a while - they didn't last long with me. I'd have to mold them really tight to get them in; after a short while they'd become spongy and not compress.

I didn't realise that cardo (and others like it?) worked with nav - that sounds like a great option; thanks for the heads up. I don't hold much hope for the earbuds under helmet due to size and anc not being good enough.

            • @poohduck: The cardo is just a fancy BT speaker.
You can set it up so that you can get all notifications read out to you (Android, I don't care for Apple, too restrictive).
I put google maps on and it gives me voice directions as I keep my phone in my pocket, safe and sound. Can listen to music, podcasts, etc, but at a low volume, so that I can hear around me. It cuts through the ear plugs just enough to hear it. Helps if your helmet has ear cutouts for the speaker.

My old HJC did not so I bought a new HJC that did and boy, was I glad.

          • @lordra: having a look at cardo - the spirit seems to be the best budget option. It looks like it's solo or with pillion only. That probably suits me. The few times I've ridden in a group has been with young dudes, and they carry on like pork chops 😂

            • @poohduck: Yes, mine is CARDO FREECOM 1+. If the group needs, they can call me. I can take calls on it, it has a little mic that goes with it. But I keep conversations as short as possible.

EOFY, you should find a good deal.

@lordra: ahh, I pulled the plug on the spirit. $175 from ebay. My partner can use the earbuds 😊

                • @poohduck: Good on you mate, good call. As long as you can hear the navigator, and answer calls, is all you need.

Will it fit in your helmet?

                  • @lordra: another unknown - I've had a look and think I'll be able to fit them in

@poohduck: I'm surprised you haven't received it yet. Let me know how you go.

                    • @poohduck: How are they?
Both with and without the helmet?
                      How is the Spirit?

  • This is now back in stock at this ATL.

Don't know for how long though.
