[SUBS, Prime] Dumb Money (2023) Movie Streaming from 10th June @ Prime Video and Binge

150

I rented this for $0.99 on iTV last month but it’s coming to stream 10th June on two services (Binge and Prime).

I was expecting it to be terrible especially with Seth rogans face on the poster (hehe weed movies) but it wasn’t bad. wasn’t great but I was expecting a lot worse for 99c.

story is about the investment subreddit incident about gamestop.
if you are wondering what it’s like it has that “The Big Short” movie vibe. like telling a story a bit rushed and glossing over details to make it a bit more humorous. I dunno wasn’t too bad imo.

I rented this for $0.99 on iTV last month

Can you get a refund ?

no it wasnt bad so I was happy with the 99c price thought it was fair.

I usually request refund when the product service was terrible.

tbh when I saw it show up for $6.99 rent I didn’t even consider watching it. not even when it dropped to $2.99 rent.
but 99c or if you have Prime or Binge this month thought it’s worth a watch.

of course you might watch it and have a different opinion.. 💁‍♀️

A deal posted about a "not great" 99c movie coming to a streaming platform…

man, I wish I didn't click, I guess I was just expecting a hyped blockbuster / critical darling, that had mass appeal and a bunch of ozbargainers waiting to save themselves the price of a cinema ticket or exy rental price 🤷🏼‍♂️

      critical darling

what the heck is a critical darling?

save themselves the price of a cinema ticket or exy rental price

this part is correct. well it's not available for 99c rental anymore on iTV (probably cheaper than subbing to a month) but if you are already paid and on a month of a streaming service I guess it works out cheaper than a cinema ticket or $6.99 rental.

also fyi it's these types of films that typically get "added to stream". they keep all the better movies together in "pay to rent/watch" of course because people are willing to pay to watch them. sometimes a good new release is added to stream but it's way less often like one every 2 or 3 months.

      man, I wish I didn't click, I guess I was just expecting a

the movie name is in the title so please don't ask me for your 10 seconds back.

  • I watched this last night… horrible. I don't see the appeal. Each to their own I guess.

I just want that 100 minutes of my life back that I wasted on watching it!
