Awesome price on these active noise cancelling headphones with the last cheapest deal being A$69.90 at Amazon AU. A good choice if you're after ANC on a budget and 1MORE are the manufacturer of headphones for Xiaomi.

Featuring 40mm drivers, up to 70 hours of battery life, active and passive noise cancelling modes, buttons for media control, phone app to change modes, set custom presets, firmware updates etc, supports dual device connection and has inbuilt mic with noise reduction for calls. Compared to the standard SonoFlow the SE doesn't have a wired jack or LDAC codec support.

AU$ based on current Mastercard rate, GST inclusive and further US$0.53 off with AliExpress Coins.

How to get the AU$ price in the title with PayPal:

Setting overseas websites to AUD or letting PayPal do the currency conversion results in an inflated rate. To get the correct rate you need a card without international fees and do the following:

  • Set the website currency to USD
  • Checkout with PayPal
  • Select your card with no international fees
  • Click "See currency options"
  • Select USD to bill the card in USD instead of AUD
  • Proceed with checkout

Now you'll get the correct MasterCard or VISA exchange rate depending on the card.

SonoFlow the SE doesn't have a wired jack

ANC on the higher Sonoflow model doesn't work with wired jack anyway which sucks and is the main purpose you would want to use wired to plug into entertainment.
"The 1MORE SonoFlow headphones can connect to your source via Bluetooth 5.0 or the supplied 2.5mm to 3.5mm TRS jack cable. Note that when in wired mode, ANC is not available, and any volume adjustment or track navigation will have to be done from your source device."

LDAC is overrated. mostly people who say WOW about it is experiencing placebo. once you get over the fact most bluetooth audio these days is good enough LDAC just becomes a battery draining feature (in Sony BT headphones it almost halves the battery life).

That's good to know about wired connections. I have the SonoFlow but I've only used it wirelessly. Seems if you're purely after ANC go for the SE.

      • Ldac doesn’t work on Apple either. So no point having if you are an iPhone user.

    • Which BT audio are you referring to as good enough? Standard SBC 328kbps and even aptX HD at 576kbps fall shy of LDAC's 990kbps. User experience can vary, depending of ofcourse on quality music source, and also on LDAC compatibility and if it's configured for best quality (has 330/660/990 bitrate).

modern non LDAC bluetooth codecs are fully transparent. same applies for file types the equivalent would be 256kpbs AAC or Opus files. I feel like I'm repeating myself when I type this but in a blind test 10/10 people cannot tell the difference between 256kbps (with modern MDCT compression) and 1411kbps WAV files (CD quality but in file form).
sometimes in a double blind test a person will claim they tell the difference between the two, but half the time they label the 256kbps one as higher quality.
you can even do the test yourself if you think you can tell the difference there are websites that give you a blind test experience.

  • Thanks OP. It is a pretty good deal considering it's price point. Paid A$43 including GST. Sound quality may not be as good as my Bose but ANC works better.

    • That's good to hear. Is it one of the budget Bose? I've never used them myself because I'm too much of a tightarse to spend big bucks on something I won't use often

      • BOSE QC 25 from an Amazon deal a while back. But I bought a Bluetooth attachment with it. Pretty good value for money but the case itself is heavy and couldn't bring it for my interstate gig.
