Yeah exactly. I'm gutted I missed out on both JB and Hardly normal deals, don't think many will jump on this.
I feel like anybody who was in the market for headphones has fulfilled their need last seek during the JB and HN clearance of the QC45 SE.
They even sold the Bose QC SC at the same price of the SE. It can only be purchased in-store at JB when I was there
yea I did this too.
When did you buy them? I asked via chat & was told the SC offer was only available for one day.
@b0nd007: Wednesday with 10% off. Limit one per customer only in-store.
Hey OP. The Bose QuietComfort Ultra are on special for $499
Thats actually a good price for the Bose QC Ultra (whilst trying to forget about the bargain we had last week)
Tough buy considering the Soft Case equivalent was selling for $164.
Techinically they're different headphones, minor differences between those QC SEs and these ones, but yeah you're getting 99.9% of the same experience for double the price if you do buy these
His point still stands that its a tough buy.
I would not see the benefit of Paying double after that last deal.
yes, that's the point I make too.
So now the Bose lineup is QC SE, QC, QC Ultra…? wth is the difference
These QC ones are the latest and are practically identical to the QC45s from a few years ago (miniscule design differences and slightly better battery life)
The QC SE is the soft-case variant of the QC45s
And the QC Ultra is Bose's highest-end consumer offering that are quite different from the rest
Bose saw Sony's confusing headphone-naming scheme and said hold my beer
these gave me tinnitus. noise canceling isn’t as good as airpods pro 2. comfortable headphones even with glasses on though
Did you get a lot of pressure too from the ANC?
from the ANC of these, yes. None from airpods pro or jabra headphones or sony xm5
Doesn’t prolonged exposure to loud noise cause tinnitus?
it was just after one day of light usage on medium volume. I never play it too loud. Used other nc earphones/headphones before that i never got the problem until I used the bose
As the other person mentioned, it's typically caused by prolonged exposure to loud noise.
One day of light usage on "medium" isn't typically what causes it.
It's probably coincidental
Even at this price it seems expensive after the JB Hi Fi QC45 deal. lol
