  • Do the referral bonuses and first time customer code nullify the cashback?

  • Do I have to add the card to the app to get the cashback? I didn’t get the cashback for the Myer deal last night after using the BoM card.

    • +2

Yes, it needs to be linked

  • -2

    Is video game included

    • -1

It's one of the only things written in the post..

      Electronics - 3.5%

You should get the 15% bonus still if you have BoM/StG card though = 18.5%.

      • +1

I already got games from it and it tracked fully. Video games are not electronics on mydeal (that was my experience).

I got the Zelda TOTK collector edition

        • Weird.. It's listed under Electronics > Gaming > Video Games, so either they unintentionally gave cashback or it doesn't actually apply to the "Electronics" category.

Makes about as much sense as mydeal's prices lol, some things are double the RRP.

  • Per user or per transaction?

    • +1

The bank bonus is per user.
The 30% bonus one is per transaction

      • So, I can make multiple transactions and earn a maximum of $40 for each transaction, right? Thanks.

  • Nice, but those caps are a bit shite

  • I guess the $10 off welcome voucher is not allowed to use?

    • No vouchers usually

  • +2

45% is too good to be true. My last Mydeal purchase with shopback did not track and was rejected after a missing report but I will take a bite again.

    • I've had similar experiences with Mydeal. If you put in a claim with Shopback just make sure ID on the new transaction record matches with your MyDeal order ID. I think that caused my claim to be rejected.

      • +3

This time, I used a pc browser with their extension which confirmed that the transaction was successful, accepted cookies, adblocker was off, recorded the whole process. They better not fK me up this time. Fingers crossed.

  • +1

My last 24 mydeal cashbacks with shopback didn't get tracked and was all rejected when I put through the claims for them…

  • Does alcohol include isopropyl?

  • Anyone have any experience with Mydeal and making multiple transactions? Capped at $40 per account or per transaction? Thanks

    • The bank bonus is per user.
The 30% bonus one is per transaction
States it in the overview section, when you click on the deal.

      • where is this overview section? usually the bank bonuses are unlimited :S

        • +1
        • Shopback sneakily changing the rules without the headsup.

So it's per transaction for bank bonuses.

          • @diviCe: my thoughts exactly

            • @Repstar: Sorry correction, per user for bank bonuses. Not transaction

              • @diviCe: yep looks like it. cant see it per user for other stores though. maybe mydeal only?? not sure

              • +1

                @diviCe: wonder if that means

                1 x stg / bom / bsa

                +

                1 x westpac

                lol??

                • @Repstar: You can do that, that will work.

The bonus normal 30% cashback is a great deal on it's own as well.

These days normally 10-18% when shopback has a boost for mydeal.

  • What's good to get?

    • squishmallows !

How do we know what’s electronic and what’s not.? Looking for a digital alarm clock and not sure what category it falls.

    • On the left hand side there is a filter by category

Can confirm a total of 45% cash back tracked
    Thanks to OP and ShopBack

  • I made two purchases all on StG card. Bank bonus only tracked the first purchase, which is way below the $25 cap. Has anyone had the same?

    • +1

Bank bonus was capped at one transaction that’s why

  • My is tracked. Thanks!

  • Mine hasn't tracked yet, purchased around 10pm.

  • The 30% has tracked, but the 15% bank (StG) bonus hasn't

  • Mine didnt track. Never had happened to me over the course of 3+years. Oh well.
