  • How is battery life compared to 45mm S9?

      • +1

        Magikarp?

    • +3

I think most people get 1.5 to 2 days battery life. So if you charge daily you shouldn’t have an issue.

      • +1

I comfortably get 2-2.5 days with regular use.
Even with a two hour run listening to music on one day I’d get to bedtime second day and charge with at least 10% left

  • +3

The “very good” condition Ultra was $615 a couple of weeks back. I grabbed one and was delighted to see that it still had 6 months worth of AppleCare+ attached to the device.
Great condition too with 99% battery life.
Not sure the difference in condition between this “good” and the one I purchased a few weeks back “very good”. There is also an “excellent” one they sell which is the next step up from “very good”.
They accept returns too so not a whole lot to lose imo.

      • Why?

        • Aesthetics are subjective, y can therefore conclude I’m not keen on the aesthetics of this model

      • why?

      • Why?

    • Good pickup I hadn't even noticed, they sell four different grades!

    • I bought one ‘as new’ condition a month ago from this store, battery health was 100%

    • Do we pay for shipment back?

      • Ebay plus is free returns,

  • can we claim TRS on it (if not bringing it back to the ccountry) . Does the seller have a gst tax invoice + ABN?

  • +1

Bought s7 titanium from this mob, as new. Fantastic price and amazing condition

  • +1

Anyone moved from a stainless to titanium and can comment on how it fares in comparison? Tossing whether I retire my series 5 stainless and move to this.

    • +1

I’m in the exact same boat and would like to know too

    • Titanium is lighter and "matte" finish rather than glossy. Goes well with the natural Ti of iPhone 15 Pro, too :P

  • Would recommend to buy a separate charger - I bought from them last month and the supplied charger caught fire while charging.

    • Should asked for a refund.

    • Did you ask for refund? What was your battery %

      • No, watch itself is in good condition, no scratch no nothing, battery is 100%. Just the supplied charger was crap.

        • what band did the watch come with?

        • what condition did you buy ? "Excellent"

    • I bought a USB C apple charger simply because the supplied chargers would have taken 3-4 hours to charge the watch which isn't acceptable, official "fast charger" is much quicker and in line with expectations.

  • Does this have the Blood Oxygen working in it ? If I am not wrong they took it out in ultra 2 ?

    • Yes has blood oxygen working

  • can anyone confirm what band type that comes with the watch?

    • Looks like a basic aliexpress silicon band. I would purchase a bunch of new bands , only a few dollars each, for the alpine loop, trail loop, ocean loop etc from China.

      • thanks

From aliexpress? You got a link please?

Have a read of some of their negative reviews… in particular their descriptions of what is "very good" or "excellent" condition (pictures included).

Not very reassuring at all… considering a lot of the negative reviews are about Apple watches being incorrectly described.

    • -1

free returns so not a lot of risk

  • You can now get all the same watches for 22% off! I cancelled my order and got a better quality one for the same price

    • Great just request to refund mine lol for an excellent condition .. $40 more lol

      • They didn't cancel my orders in time and just posted it so I have initiated a return, its free anyway so no issue , just means they hold the cash for a week or two, in the end I get the watch I want at 22% off.

        • ah which condition type did you end up getting?

          • @RichieVn: I made a bit of a mess of it all in the end, first ordered a "good" at 17% off as didn't realise there was other available, then got a "very good" at 17% off, then when the 22% coupon came out I ordered an "excellent" as it was slightly cheaper than the "very good". haha :) will just return the "good" and "very good", I am sure the "very good" would have been fine but might as well get one that looks new given the discounts.

I figure the better the condition the easier to resell if I get bored of it quickly and go back to my Garmin Epix, which I have done in the past with apple watches.

            • @noise36: i reckon you should open them all up and check all battery % and return the one with the least lol

    • btw they don’t have “as new” anymore

  • +1

received mine with 100% battery - bought "good" version. No scratch marks or anything

    • Wow amazing! makes me think getting an "Excellent" was a waste money

      • I think it is. I’m going to return the excellent one

  • Cannot apply any discount anymore :(

    • I bought 3 if you want one. 2 still coming

      • Yes. I want one if u still have it. Pm me mate. Ta

    • They are all out of stock except it looks like 1x "as new" is left for $709 at 22% off.

I am doubtful they are actually out of stock , probably wait for the coupon to finish and relist?

  • Bought an ‘excellent’ condition watch from this shop, came with about 6 minor dings in the case and a severe dent in the crown. Free returns though, so there’s that

    • Sounds like its a lucky dip considering RichieVn experience just above.

One watch I have tracked VIC > WA > VIC so no idea whats happening there, is it possible it was redirected by the seller? The other two appear to be in the same parcel and looks to be arriving tomorrow or the following day so will update with the condition then.

      • Hopefully it’s all 100% battery health with no scratches. I got 2 more coming my way

  • The "good" and "very good arrived in one package so I dont actually know which was which, one has 100% battery health and only a tiny scratch on the side you can barely noticed, the other looks new but wouldn't charge and wouldn't turn on, just flash a red charging symbol when I tried.

The "excellent" one again looks new and has 100% battery health, turns on and charges.

The charging is extremely slow with the supplied chargers, basically useless as would take hours, I will probably just buy an apple charger so I can get "fast charging"

From my experience I think just buy the lowest condition apple watch, no real difference between the grades, though your mileage may vary. Kicking myself I didnt order a "good" at 22% off for <$600 but only paid about $629 in the end so all good. Hopefully they dont stuff me around with the refund since one of the watches doesn't charge.

    • wonder if they'll return it if the box is opened and apple watch turned on and connected?

    • sent back to seller (with tracking number) and it says refund by 5th July - so we'll see

      • I got my first refund confirmation email day after watch was received by them, second watch received by them today so hopefully refund tomorrow. You wont be waiting for July, that's just the last date where eBay steps in if the seller hasn't done anything.

  • "excellent" arrived - 97% battery health, minor scratches on the side if you look close enough.. all in all okay i guess for the price

  • This is sold out but I was after a cheap upgrade from my Series 5. Thanks for your feedback noise36, I grabbed an "as new" and a "very good" to compare and will return one.

    • good luck with your returns.. its taking ages for mine

      • Oh damn. Mine just got delivered but I haven't had a chance to check them out.

    • It's not sold out, still going with different code.

      • It was sold out when I reported it though.

Anyway it looks like only "good" condition left. Going by my "very good" I wouldn't go below that condition.

        • If you read the comments there is no clear correlation between the listed condition and actual condition. Free returns means zero risk, just a charge on your card for a couple of weeks at worst if you return it.

          • @noise36: True. Definitely made use of the free returns. Did you just put change of mind as the return reason?

            • +1

@theguyrules: I think I used "ordered by mistake" but it wont matter as you dont need a specific reason, its an ebay please feature to allow free returns for any reason.

There is "excellent" condition watches in stock btw

  • As new - almost perfect condition, the lightest scratches on screen you can only see with the screen off

Very good - decently scratched, especially on top edge.

    Both 100% battery health

  • Deal is still going with a new code and relisted stock.

  • Thanks OP, picked one up!

  • has anyone had issues checking the serial number on apple?
Bought a SE2nd gen from them, basically as new apart from charger and band, but coming up as ‘Purchase date not validated’ when looked up.
    Any thoughts?

    • +1

Just checked mine - no issues with it. Shows up purchase date etc.

    • Contacted apple, weren’t of much help, I guess I’ll return mine :(

  • +1

Seems to be out of stock now

  • One of my refunds happened really quickly, the second I had to escalate then got an email claiming the watch was icloud locked and I needed to unregistered it from my account. I checked prior to returning it this wasn't the case and checked again now and only have one watch registered which is the one I kept and am using.

I'm not sure how I could have a watch locked to my icloud but not visible at all as a device on my icloud "find my" or on my phone as a watch. I suspect its the watch that I didn't even turn on and the previous owner locked it and they are trying to put it on me, lets hope they dont make this difficult, as ebay has already told me they have escelated a refund.

  • Final update, second refund processed after I gave them the S/N and showed I hadn't registered the watch on icloud.

My "titanium" aliexpress band is pretty good but not comfortable enough for everyday use and sleeping (digs in a bit at the back at times), hopefully my pack of bands arrive shortly so I can get rid of this black band that came with it from loop.

I would suggest anyone who is still using the charger they sent with it go buy an apple charger or something that will fast charge , makes a huge difference.

    • I threw out the charger that came with it after hearing how bad it was.
also my return seems to be stuck in AusPost limbo :(

    • My refund came quick after they received it.

  • Back in stock and code still working just checked.

  • +1

Update: Just received my watch today. It had 94% battery health and was pretty much in excellent condition. What a bargain for $593. Buy and Apple charger though

    • +1

Not bad but JB had the Ultra brand new for $649. Still some stock popping up now and then on their site.

      • Yea I wasn’t going to keep refreshing in hopes that it would pop up. Pretty happy with my purchase and the battery health was 96% so pretty much brand new anyway
