$1299 - $150 = $1149

      Hahaha I feel called out

  • idos is very nice, you just fill it up now and then and it doses for you. We have problems with the pump seizing up with hairs from time to time though, and then you have to drain with the bottom hatch before you can remove the blockage.

    • Oh wow, as in the idos pump?

      • No the drain pump in the bottom right corner. Had a technician come out and he changed it, but the new one has the same problem.

        • Oh wow good to know! Thanks for sharing!

  • Any dryer suggestions as keen to package washer and dryer, but have zero idea on dryers, for occasional use. Saying that have no idea on washing machines either, but like Bosch and german made…

      Dryers are an interesting one.

If your laundry is well ventilated and/or you have a vent hole, you could get away with a cheap vented dryer. Note that they expel the moisture of your clothes via the vent so it can cause a bit of humidity which can be problematic if not well ventilated. eg. Mould etc.

If you want to avoid that you can step up to the condenser dryers which capture the water in their tank (The top left of the unit where you put in the detergent in the washing machine is a big tray on the dryers) that you can also pipe out to a drain if you don't want to empty the tank all the time.

Then at the top you have the heat pump dryers which are far more energy efficient but come at a premium.
